Chaptertwo: Back at Pearl Daly High

"Lisa we're ready to order" said Emma

"Oh" I said snapping out of my day dream.

"Um I'll have chocolate chip pancakes please" I said to the waiter.

He was tall and dark with a moustache. He looked like a cliché French guy.

"And you miss" he said looking at Emma.

"Um I'll have eggs
Benedict." She said licking her lips; Emma's favourite breakfast.

The waiter took our menus and left the table. Me and Emma talked a little more about the tour andabout school.

"It must have been so amazing going around the world, meeting your fans" said Emma

"It really was" I replied

"Did you get a chance to visit home?" she asked

"Um... no" I said looking at the floor trying not to let a tear fall out.

"Oh Lis I'm sorry"

"its okay" I said cheering up a little

"I just wish that..."

"I know" Emma said cutting me off. I smiled at her. She understood how I felt.

Emma gets a little home sick from time to time too.

Emma's P.O.V

I wish Lisa would take some time off and visit her friends and family in Orange County. She seems to be missing them so much. She tries not to show it, but she really is sad. I know she doesn't want to take any more time off school, especially after the tour. She talks about her friends and family all the time, especially Justin they really were super close. I know she's dying to see her brother and two sisters; she won't shut up about them for crying out loud! She doesn't talk about her mom or her step dad that much, or her step sisters and brothers, but I guess she would like to see them as well, right? Anyway maybe she'll be in luck and get a break soon. I'll get her back to Orange County even if I have to drive her there myself. After all, she's done so much for me since we became friends.

Lisa's P.O.V

I took a bite out of my pancakes and they were so good. I was about to take another when some familiar words came back to me:

"You fat slut" "You're such a fat whore" "You're so disgusting"

These words rattled though my mind and I put my fork down.

"Are you feeling okay?" asked Emma

"Yeah I just suddenly lost my appetite" I replied

"Oh... okay well you comin' then?" said Emma

"Right behind you Em"

I replied following her out of the cafe.

"I'm just gonna go to the rest room Lisa, be right back" said Emma

"Okay I'm gonna get a drink in the vending machine" I replied.

I headed towards the

vending machines Hmmm what will I have I thought. I decided to be healthy and go for bottled water. I grabbed the
water and was just about to take a drink.

"Oh thanks" said Courtney as she snatched my bottle of water out of my hand

"Courtney can I just have my water back pl..." "Shut up" she cut me off as she pushed me against the wall. Her group of friends continued to snigger as they strutted away. I rolled my eyes and sighed puffing my cheeks about to get another one, then I realised

that I didn't have any more change with me..."Really?"

Emma returned from the rest room

"Where's your drink?" she asked frowning

"Oh um, I changed my mind... Didn't get one" I lied

"Oh okay" she shrugged.

"What do you want to do today?" asked Emma

"Well I was thinking about going to gymnastics today and then studying for that Biology test on Monday" I said.

"Oh um cool" she replied disappointed that I mentioned the word Study.

"Or.... we could grab a smoothie after gymnastics and watch a movie... screw studying"

"That's what I like to hear Silver" Emma said relieved. I laughed

"You'll probably ace that bio test anyway, you're so annoyingly smart" Emma said rolling her eyes sarcastically

I never know how to react to compliments.

"Or epically fail it" I laughed

"Whatever" Emma rolled her eyes again. I went up to the dorm room to get my gymnastics gear.

"You sure your gonna be okay until I get back from gymnastics" I laughed

"Yeah I'll be fine...Do I look fat in this" said Emma walking out of her room with a new top on

"Omg yes you're huge cover yourself up" I said throwing a blanket at her

"You are so mean right now" she said laughing

"It looks great... seriously" I said reassuring her. It really did. I was so jealous of Emma's figure. It was perfect. She wasn't too big, she wasn't too small, just right.

"I'll see you in about an hour or two" I shouted walking out the door

"See ya Lee lee" she yelled back

I went to the gymnasium and there was no one there lucky for me and I began doing my gymnastics...

"Emma I'm back" I yelled as I returned from the gym.

"Hey, what movie you wanna watch" she yelled from her room.

"You pick, I'm just gonna have a quick shower"

I jumped in the cool shower and washed myself with strawberry shampoo. I threw on a white tee shirt with cute little puppies on it, a pair of white shorts and my fluffy pink slippers.

"So what are we watching" I asked curiously

"How 'bout 21 jump street?" she asked.

"Of course Emma you pick a Channing Tatum film" I chuckled

"What? He's hot" she said

"Remind me why I'm complaining" I realised

"Yeah" laughed Emma

We began to watch the film. It was absolutely hilarious.

"Well I'm going to bed to dream about Channing Tatum" said Emma stretching as the movie credits came on screen.

"Good luck with that" I giggled

"Another day of school tomorrow" said Emma rolling her eyes

"Yeah... fun" I said suddenly very very worried

"Well I'll see you in the morning Lis" yawned Emma

"Night Em" I said
