DEAR DIARY,

THERE are three days left before my junior year in school starts, and the day hasn't gone very well so far.

-

I woke up and looked at the time, which was 7:21 am. i put on my glasses, and then walked over to my desk towards my fish bowl and fed my goldfish. i then routinely turned on the computer next to the fish bowl to check for any messages.

i started the aol dial up, which started making it's usual loud horrid sounds. soon, the computer finished dialing up to the internet, and the computer greeted me with a voice and notification on the screen saying 'you've got mail!'. i clicked on it, which led me to an instant message yuta sent me earlier this morning at 5:31 am.

yuta and i started dating the year after my biological parents kicked me out back in 1999, when they found out that i was gay. fortunately, i wasn't an orphan for too long, because my best friend, jungwoo, convinced his mother to let me stay at his house. shortly after, i got legally adopted by his mother, making jungwoo and i officially legal siblings.

it's now mid-2004, and yuta and i are still a couple. continuing on, i started reading the message that yuta left me.

AFTER reading his message, i picked up my flip phone that was on my nightstand only to find out that i forgot to charge it last night. i sighed and connected my phone to the charger. it was taking too long to charge, and i didn't want to keep him waiting any longer, so i walked out to the hallway to call him through the house phone, which shut off the aol on the computer. he picked up the call almost instantly.
