After teaming up with Misty, ash went to the Viridian forest to reach the pewter city for his first gym batch. "So troublesome... Hah.... I guess i should have just brought her a new bicycle, atleast i could have travelled in freedom" thought ash.
After a min of walking, ash saw Misty being on edge. She was quite and was sticking close to trees. "What's up with her now? She is maintained so much distance and sticking close to trees.. wait... Looks like she's afraid of bug type Pokemon..."thinks Ash. "Hey, why are u still following me?"asks Ash. "Didn't i say that, until u get me a new bicycle i won't leave u alone, and-"Misty was cut of in mid sentence. A Pokemon suddenly came out if the grass near her. "AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"screams Misty, and then runs off to the farthest tree from there. "GET THAT THING AWAY FROM HERE!!"screams Misty while hiding behind the tree. It was a green caterpillar with a cream coloured bottom and small dots joined to it's bottom which acts as it's feet, and also with a pink 'Y' shaped antenna like structure on it's head. "Oh, it's a caterpie... Not bad. His aura is strong as well. Atleast she is useful for finding strong Pokemon."thinks Ash. Ash points his pokedex camera towards the Pokemon, even though he already knows about it. Within a min, a Robotic voice responds; Caterpie, caterpillar Pokemon. This Pokemon lives on trees and loves to feed on leaves. Often shy in nature, when threatened releases slik make of fine thread to block enemies movement while it runs away. Caterpie is the earliest evolution stage of the Pokemon butterfree.
"Wow, that's a caterpie! It'll be my first Pokemon!"announced Ash in a childish manner. "I DONT CARE WHAT U DO WITH IT! JUST GET RID OF IT!!!!"screams Misty. "I know! Would u care to stop screaming for a damn min!" shouts Ash in his thoughts. Ash takes on a childish pokeball throwing pose and turns his hat backside. "This feels so embarassing. Now that i have trained as a aura guardian which made my mentality as a child mature faster... Sigh..."thinks Ash. He throws the pokeball towards caterpie. Bullseye! It hits caterpie on it's head. With a light flash, caterpie dissolves into red beam which gets sucked inside the pokeball. The pokeball falls on the ground and started ticking. *Tick* *tick* *tick* *tick* ... *Ding* With a ding sound the capture was successful. Ash picks up the pokeball and does a victory pose with it. "I catched my first Pokemon! My first step towards my dream of becoming a Pokemon master!"announced Ash. "So embarassing!!! If she wasn't here i wouldn't have to go through all this embarassment! Why won't u just leave! Pls leave me.. i can't take this embarassment!"thinks Ash.
"Yh th, now keep that pokeball away from me. Let's continue on our way"says Misty. "Hmph"scoffs ash. He calls out caterpie. Misty immediately retreats away from him. "Why did u call it out! Get it inside!"screams Misty. Ash ignores her screams. Caterpie who just came out saw Misty standing very far away from himself. He was visibly saddened. "Hey, there buddy. Ignore that girl, wanna come up?"asks Ash pointing his left shoulder. Caterpie looks back and forth from Misty to ash. Finally it decided to choose to follow ash. He slowly climbs up to Ash's shoulder. "Now that we are set, let's continue on our journey!"says Ash. Pikachu follows him from behind.
Ash didn't looked back and continued on his route, Misty followed behind keeping a huge distance between them. After a while Ash got annoyed by her following him from that far away. "Hey! For how long are u gonna follow me from that far away! It's getting really annoying!"asks Ash. "I won't stop following u until u give me back my bicycle!"answers Misty. "Ik, ik, ik!! I'm asking when will u stop following me from that distance!"asks Ash. "I'll be do this until u put that bug back to its ball. So get that thing inside!"says Misty. "I'm not placing him inside. He will stay outside just like Pikachu. And seriously what is ur issue? Why do u hate bug type Pokemon?"asks Ash. "They are disgusting! Now get it inside!"screams Misty. Hearing this caterpie was heartbroken. He went inside his pokeball. "Pikachu...[Caterpie...]" says Pikachu. "Look what have u done, u made caterpie sad."says Ash. Misty rolls eyes on Ash's sentence.
