Serena's parents died after they gave bird to their last child. Soon they were sent to an orphanage. They were sometimes offered to go to an adoptive family but the 3 sisters stayed together. "If they can't go with, then I won't come either" so they never got adopted. I mean find someone who's willing to adopt 3 girls. Where 2 of them have anger issues. Which is why Layla was most asked to adopt. Serena and Dalia both had problems controlling their anger, especially Dalia.

Dalia met Nala in the orphanage, the poor girl's parents died in a car accident. They became best friends through the years. One night, Nala walked in on a very strange scene. Dalia had a plant coming out of her hand. After calming Nala down and explaining that their family possessed the elements, Nala thought it was awesome.

Nala became part of the family and everyone saw her as a sister.

When Serena turned 18, she could leave the orphanage. So she did but not without adopting her sisters and their best friend. She rented an apartment with money she got from working in the orphanage. She started working in a car shop, while the other 3 went to school. She learned a lot and bought a house when she had the money.

Her sister, Dalia had her best friend, Nala with her through the year. Layla on the other hand didn't have anyone at school and she didn't mind. But soon she fell in the arms of Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall, literally. They became her best friends.

When Serena turned 19, she finally had enough money to start her own car shop. And man, a lot of money came in. The shop soon became the talk of town. She bought a car to drive all girls to school.

Dalia repeatedly would get into fights and sometimes Nala would join. Dalia has been suspended sometimes. While on the other hand Layla was a quiet student and just focused on her grades, which were straight A's.
