with the advent of science people's faith in the mystical and supernatural has weakened and their gods have vanished. now , as the ancient fossils the gods have descended upon earth as former shells of their previous glorious selves. but peace is hard to find when you have lived a millennium.
the gods are dying.
their own creations , the humans , want them dead. and no one knows why. some claim it's envy. others cite the humans innate want for superiority and their fear of the unknown as the reason. whatever the reason may be , the humans have found a method to kill god and they won't stop.
the old gods are back.
the goddess of prophecy has revealed that the gods old nemesis , the great old ones are back. and they want vengeance.
the world will die.
now what will happen when a couple of unfortunate humans stumble upon this mess. will they save the world or watch it burn ?
