Chapter 1: All Too Well

It was the month of March and the smell of winter was still hanging around. Skye had his chemistry exam. Skye barely had the time to study last night, his legs were shaking so hard as if they'd cause an earthquake on the school grounds.

Skye wrote whatever the hell he remembered and he was just expecting to get a passing mark as it was just the first term, so it would not have affected his total marks at the end of the year. The bell rang, and Skye submitted his paper knowing damn well he wrote worse than the bullshit he remembered. Skye planned to just go home and start writing songs and playing them on his guitar. And of course, listening to Taylor Swift.

Skye loved Taylor Swift, coffee and his guitar. At that time in his life he didn't care about anything else other than himself, Skye learned self-love.

Skye walked through the door with Nate. Nate asked him to stay for a while cause they haven't talked properly for a while, Skye was in a good mood on the day so he decided to tag along. They were just walking on the school ground filled with students who hate Skye, Skye never really knew why they hated him. Or if they hated him or was it all simply Skye's anxiety which led him to believe that they hated him?

Skye saw a random dude standing on school grounds and just asked him how his exam was. "it was good, I guess" replied August.

Yes, it was August.

It was the beginning of summer but Skye felt the autumn breeze coursing through his skin. His sweetest position was so different and he knows what he knew to be a best friend was long gone. And Skye might have been okay but he wasn't fine at all. And there he was again in that same place, wind in his hair, he was there, he remembered it all too well.

He remembered the same platonic love he felt when he was with Ricky. They were always skipping town

For a very few moments, Skye felt it all back, he got out of school immediately and walked home alone.
