"Get to the village!" I shouted as I sat onto my ilu and we rushed to the shore. When we got there a helicopter landed with some medical guys in it.
Since I wanted to give them space I decided not to bother when the medical guys examined Kiri. I watched as Mother and my sister walked into there home since Ronal was the village tsahik.
I got lost in my thoughts about how Aonung was gonna be the next ole'eyktan and Tsireya would make a way better Tsahik that I ever could.
I sighed, I just haven't found my place, yet it hurt to know that I probably could never live up to my mothers and fathers expectations.
3rd person POV:
Quadrich and his son were riding along the sky, waiting for a back call of their station. "Boss, one of the patrols picked up a radar hit. A rogue gunship" Lyle, his partner informed them.
"Where?" "Eastern sea, 2 clicks north" Quaritchs question got answered but he decided to first fly to their station.
At the military station:
„The signal disappeared out over the open sea. But if Projekt the track, it hits this island group." Spiders father announced „That's hundreds of islands. That's a big search box. Lots of villages" the woman to his right argued.
„This is our guy. Give me ships and aircraft I will bring you back his scalp". Was his last word before flying of again, with his crew trying to find a suitable ship.
As soon as they spotted one they didn't hesitate to immediately fly down onto the ship. The ship owners looked confused at them, waiting to know what they wanted from them.
„Are you Scoresby?" Quaritch asked „Mhm and are you the asshole who's commandeering my ship?" Scoresby asked back in a rather annoyed tone.
„That would be me"
Mei'lu POV:
„The Tulkuns have returned!" I loudly announced while watching everyone jump into the water, to go greet their spirit sisters and brothers.
„Everybody, our brothers and sisters have returned!" I added before diving back into the water and looking around for my spirit sister. On my way I noticed Neteyam gliding through the water so I swam up to him and he asked „where is your spirit sister?",
„Im looking for her, you wanna come with me?" a smile formed on his face as he climbed behind me on my ilu. I dashed through the waves taking glances at every tulkun that I had passed when a tulkun that I knew just too good scratched my sigh.
„That's my spirit sister!" I yelled over the loud waves of the ocean before me. The tulkun were majestic and beautiful creatures that were like a part of our family.
A smile rushed onto my face the second I spotted her and it felt like all my worries were vanished even when it only was for the split of a second.
"Is it alright for you if I could have some time with my spirit sister?" "Of course" Neteyam respectfully answered and jumped of my ilu into the bluish sea that was surrounding us.
I swam down to her eye level, got of my ilu and I started to tell stories, about the time she wasn't there, about the times she was there and my spirit sister had quite the interesting stories to share too.
I told her about the forest kids and especially the one that made my heart swell.
After some time I decided to go home when I noticed a familiar voice coming from the sully's home. I normally wouldn't do this but my curiosity was stronger that my resistance.
I sneaked up a bit closer which helped me identify the owner of this voice and it was, my father. "Sky people" I heard a pressed voice mumble "they're looking for you Jake sully".
My eyes widened "South, they have a human boy who speaks Na'vi" "Did they kill anybody?" Jakes voice murmured. "Not yet" father answered "they threaten, but the villagers will not tell them where you are on my order".
I was frozen in my position when I noticed loud steps slowly approaching. I looked around trying to find something to hide and ended up just quietly gliding into the water.
The steps from my father creaked over me, I waited, waited and as soon as my father vanished into our home I pulled myself out of the water.
I wasn't sure what to think about this whole situation, it felt so unreal.
The next day...
My siblings, Rotxo, Tsireya and me were hiding behind Seegras in the water. We were stalking Lo'ak since apparently we had nothing better to do.
I looked to lo'ak and he swam into the mouth of the tulkun, Neteyam seemed incredibly shocked and wondered why we weren't interfering.
After some time I noticed that Neteyam was really getting worried and tried to dash foreword and help his brother but I held him by his arm and slowly shook my head, no.
He looked between me and Aonung before going back to his old position. I kept my hand on his arm just in case that he got another stupid idea when he suddenly wandered my hand to his and instead held onto my hand.
I tried not to show my excitement and happiness too much and just kept staring to the tulkun.
We had to wait another few minutes before he finally swam to the surface but the moment of happiness ended when I realised that our parents wouldn't be so happy about Lo'ak bonding with the outsider.
