Chapter 3 (Tam's P.O.V)

I could tell that Wendy was upset when she mentioned not seeing the guy again. I couldn't blame her though, he was really attractive and that accent? With that kind of a voice I bet he has no problem winning ladies over.

He certainly won me over and he didn't even speak to me!

I knew he was like me. A werewolf. It was in his scent. By the way he held himself, I could tell he was an alpha.

Wendy doesn't know about any of this. She also doesn't know that she's a werewolf either. Or that everyone in our world knew who she was. Rather, who her dad was.

Erik O'Mara. One of the greatest alphas in werewolf history. He's the one that imprisoned Naois, a great and terrible alpha that killed and feasted on thousands of humans, and when the urge seized him, other werewolves.

O'Mara went around the world and gathered the most powerful alphas that he knew or that owed him a favor. Together they went to the dwelling of Naois and slaughtered his pack while they slept. Naois was strong, but not strong enough to take on O'Mara and the other alphas alone.

O'Mara took a chain made of silver and bound Naois in a cave, far away from human civilization. Some legends say that he still lives. In that cave he suffers from the silver on his skin everyday, but he continues to live because his hate for Erik O'Mara is so strong.

Or so they say. After all, who can tell with legends?

Wendy didn't know of this legend. She doesn't even know her father.

I opened my mouth to say something but I close it when I see her lost in thought with a far-away look on her face. By the look that the guy gave her, and what she gave him, it would probably be a safe assumption that they're soul mates.

Not that Wendy needed to know.

She's my best friend, and I love her of course, but Wendy could easily get any man she wanted. I couldn't. I wanted him. Her mate.

I don't know who he is, or how I could find him, but I will. And when I do, he will be mine.

No matter the cost.
