Twilight: Edward Cullen (request)

I look at her with a big smile on my face, "Because you just got pranked."

"Crap"

"What?"

"Jacob is probably yelling at Edward right now."

We ran inside and saw Edward smiling and Jacob with a stern look on his face.

"What is going on here?" I ask.

"You're right, it is funny" Edward says.

"It was your idea?" Jacob asks.

"Of course it was. You really thought vampy could come up with this amazing prank?" I tease.

"True" Jacob says.

We all sat back down and had dinner at the diner. After dinner, we all went home.

**time skip: few days later**

Edward and I were on a picnic date in the forest when three vampires sped in front of us.

"Oh Eddie, don't you remember? It's against the rules for vampires to date humans" the female said.

Edward stood up and put me behind him, "Victoria."

"Break up with the girl Cullen" the blonde male said.

"No James" Edward said.

"Listen to him, he knows better" the dark skinned one said.

"Shut up, Laurent" Edward said.

"Edward, you are breaking the rules by dating a human" James said.

"They are pathetic anyways" Victoria said.

"She isn't pathetic" Edward said, hands clenched into fists.

"Come on man. There are many good vampires in this world that you could date instead of a weak and worthless human" Laurent said.

Edward snapped, he ran at Laurent and ripped his head off. Then ran at Victoria and they started fighting. James took this chance and ran at me. He shoved me to the ground and straddled me, holding me down. He placed both hands on my arm and bit into my wrist. I screamed, catching Edwards attention. James stopped and looked at Edward, his mouth covered in my blood. Edward ran at James, and they fought, Edward winning and James ending up in two pieces. Edward came over and knelt beside me, he was panicking then looked at me with sorry eyes. I felt paralyzed, James' venom was going through my body. Edward bit my wrist right where James did, I couldn't tell what he was doing because my vision went black.

I opened my eyes and quickly shut them, not expecting the bright light. I slowly opened my eyes, letting them adjust to the light. Once I opened my eyes fully, I looked around and processed that I was in the hospital. I kept looking and saw Bella and Jacob in chairs beside my bed.

I tried sitting up but the pressure on my wrist hurt, "Ow."

I think I said it a little too loud because I caught the attention of Jacob. Jacob nudged Bella and she looked up and saw that I was awake.

"How are you feeling?" Bella asked.

"Good. I don't really remember what happened though" I say.

Jacob and Bella explained the whole thing that happened between James, Victoria, Laurent and Edward. Just after they finished explaining, Edward walked in the room. He looked at Bella and Jacob, they took the hint and left the room. Edward pulled a chair next to my bed, sat in it then grabbed my hand.

"I'm sorry" Edward said.

"Why? What do you have to be sorry for?" I ask.

"I put you in the hospital."

"Did you know they were going to show up?"

"No..."

"Did you know James was going to bite me?"

"No..."

"So, you have nothing to be sorry for, you couldn't have prevented it."

"But I took more of your blood than I should have."

"But you saved my life."

"I couldn't control myself."

"That's okay, you still saved me. I don't care what happens with other vampires, I will always love you, no matter what."

"I will always love you too, no matter what."

Edward pressed a gentle kiss to my lips.

It is when you almost lose someone when you realize how much they actually mean to you.
