Good thing it was the weekend now, or else you would never get it done. Little things like this seem to completely overwhelm you. Oh the painful hells of a neurodivergent mind.

You sighed as you walked over to your little kitchen, deciding that a good breakfast would be a great way to start this day. Imagine that. No cereal today sweetie, no no, you're going to eat like a king. You pulled out some sausages from the freezer, some grits, and some eggs. As you started working on your breakfast you spotted Oscar out of the corner of your eye trotting over to the couch and hopping in his little designated spot. The far left cushion with your favorite pillow. You giggled as you saw him making biscuits in the plush pillow.

"Don't worry sweetie, breakfast will be done soon." You called. Oscar turned to look at you as you spoke up, but quickly went back to his very important biscuits.

You turned back to making your own breakfast. It was simple, browning the sausages in the skillet, then cooking the eggs in whatever sausage fond is left behind. Great egg hack to be honest, best flavor. You didn't want to wait too long for the grits to be done so you simply pop them in a microwave safe bowl and heat them up there.

A few minutes later you were finally done with your yummy meaty concoction. It was a very filling breakfast, so you made sure not to make too much. You got to work making your homemade mocha coffee as you waited for the food to cool. You gave Oscar a glare as he was trotting over, the little shit yowling as he eyed your breakfast bowl.

"I know you better not." You give him a warning as you mixed the last of the chocolate sauce in with the coffee sugar mixture. The cat simply looks at you, blinks, then back at the bowl. "No Oscar."

Finally with your breakfast made and ready you lazy walk over to the loveseat and plop yourself down, careful not to spill your coffee. You rolled your eyes as you carefully scooped a decent spoonful of grits and eggs out and dropped it onto Oscar's food bowl, blowing on it to make sure it wasn't that hot. You were met with a long and loud MrooooooOOOOOW as Oscar happily bumped your hand out the way with his head, instantly nomming down on the breakfast.

"Jesus you're feckin spoiled!" You couldn't help the laugh. "I'd make a horrible parent."

You once again drop yourself onto the loveseat, bowl in hand and remote in the other. You turned on the television with a huff, flipping through channels and avoiding others you know you didn't like. Eventually you settled on some sword making show. It looked interesting enough. You set the remote down on the coffee table and grabbed your phone, eating as you opened your social medias.

It was a little jarring. Team Fortress 2 was apparently trending almost everywhere. Well, everywhere in your little circle, which was only Twitter and Tumblr. You did a little barebones research and found out that just last night a huge update had dropped for the game. Just like that, no big hoopla, Valve just pulled a pump and dump.

"No fucking shit!?" You sat up, almost dropping your breakfast as you knocked your knee into the coffee table. You let out a pained yelp, quickly setting down your bowl.

"Ow, shit, holy shit, ow! Oh my God, wait actually!???"

You quickly scurried over to grab your laptop from its resting place from last night and powered it on. As you waited for it to boot up, you glanced over at your phone. You really wanted to just pick it up and watch every single video you could find, but you're about to see for yourself right now, aren't you? You rationalized it as spoiling a surprise for yourself. Yeah, don't pick up that damn phone, the laptop is turning on now, see?

You leaned back in the loveseat with the laptop on your lap, finger dragging over the little mouse pad area as you clicked on the team Fortress 2 icon. Has it really been updated? Are you going to get new maps? New taunts? New voice lines from the cast!? Oh wouldn't that be amazing!
