"Absolutely not." Mei said, before turning to Sandy and Y/N with a worried expression. "I-I I don't- I don't know." She whispered, making Y/N sweat drop.

"Okay, so, I guess I just go forward?" Mk led his avatar forward, before being stopped by in-game Monkey King. A text box appeared at the bottom of the screen, as the in-game Monkey King started talking. MK gasped at him. "It's Monkey King! He's in the game!" The headset showed stars over his eyes, before quickly being replaced by question marks. "Wait, did Monkey King make this game?" Y/N shrugged, before speaking.

"If he did, I'm impressed." Y/N watched as the virtual Monkey King changed, indicating he was talking, before MK groaned.

"Ugh, this is taking forever. How do I skip?" He pressed a button on the controller, making the pop up disappear. He continued forward, before being stopped again by Monkey King. "Ugh, what now?" He grunted, annoyed, as Y/N continued to watch the screen. MK continued to skip all his dialogue, Y/N chuckled at the expression Monkey King gave on the screen.

Mei tried to tell him how the tutorials could be helpful, but MK just ignored her, as he waved the controller around, continuing to skip.

"Oh, there're done! Finally." He continued to walk forward, and to the next level. MK gasped loudly as he realized where he was. "AN IN-GAME STORE!" He was stopped yet again by Monkey King, welcoming him. MK grew excited, as he sped through the door. An in-game version of Tang Sanzang greeted him as he entered. MK scrolled through the shop, as the headset had stars over his eyes. "Wow! This has all of Monkey King's moves! Wukong's 100-18,000 summersault!.. Huh? these are all passive abilities. Awwww." MK groan in disappointment, as the character on screen sighed.

He switched the passive ability section, to the more powerful moves. Y/N got a glimpse of the Monkey King on the screen, with little clothes on as he flexed his, probably non-existent in real life, muscles. Sandy quickly covered Y/N's eyes, though they already saw something they didn't want to. MK soon moved on to the first boss, completely destroying him.

Y/N grew a bit bored, as they watched him beat the next boss in one hit as well. Y/N got up, and looked around the hut, trying to find something that would interest them. They spotted another chest on the top left corner, and went over to open it. Sandy and Mei kept their eyes on the screen and MK, not noticing Y/N going through Monkey King's possessions.

Y/N spotted something out of the corner of their eye, and looked dug through the pile of junk to find it. The longer they looked, the more the item seemed to call out to them, begging him to find it. Y/N soon found the item that caught their eye and held it up, looking at it curiously. It was a royal blue scroll, with two dark red stripes at the top. Y/N opened the scroll, using one hand to hold it in the air as they examined the inside. A small white flower fell from the inside, making Y/N bend over and pick it up in their other hand. He looked back at the scroll, seeing a slightly yellow piece of paper. A piece of tape was over a blue circular looking object, with symbol carved on it. Y/N turned back to the paper, and read through it, their eyes scanning each line of words.

'I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, ӾɆ₦JɄ. It's all my fault. What have I done. I should've protected you, I should have done something. I miss you so much. I've been meaning to give you this. It's a Spectral Konimochi. It's a small coin that allows you, I, and our other friends to telepathically speak to one and other easily. All you gotta do is put your eye over it. I wish I could've given it to you sooner. Maybe this all could've been prevented. I hope you can forgive me, in another life.

Y/N's eyes widened as they finished looking through the note. Who's ӾɆ₦JɄ? What happened? When was this? They frowned a bit, before looking back at the others. Mei was being tucked in by Sandy, as MK continued to play the Monkey King game. Y/N closed the scroll, putting the flower back in it, and then secretly hiding the scroll in their pocket. They walked over next to the front of the couch, sitting down as MK continued playing.
