ayato x zhongli (randomized) [WIP]

its a sunny day at the kamisato estate. ayato is drinking his 3rd bubble tea this morning. "where is he.." he wonders while waiting for his boyfriend. suddenly, he hears a loud crash. it sounded like someone fell into a bush. ayato decides to leave the estate and go see what happened. "another hillichurl isnt it.." he mumbled while walking over. right before ayato gets to check the bush, zhongli, his boyfriend jumps out of the bush and scares ayato so he drops his boba. "aaah what was that for!?" ayato yelled. "ah, didnt mean to scare you that bad.. apologies my love" said zhongli. zhongli got out the bush and hugged ayato. "hows your sister?" he asked ayato. "shes fine, i think shes been going out with like aether or something." ayato replied. "ah so he finally got a girlfriend! suprising how long it took considering the amount of people he flirted with.." zhongli said. ayato started laughing. maybe a little too much because he started chocking. it was over in no time though. "well then, how about we head to your house?" asked zhongli. "ah i was going to suggest a stroll around the city but either one works!" ayato said and smiled. "great idea love! lets stroll around the city!" said zhongli. they start heading towards the city. however, they get ambushed by a group of fatui agents who are more armed than usual. unfortunately, they didnt notice in time and the fatui agent with an electro infused hammer hits ayato in the head so hard that he passes out. "ayato!?" zhongli shouted while shaking from the shock. fortunately, zhongli can fight so he defeats the fatui agents and rushes ayato back to the kamisato estate. a couple hours later ayato wakes up. "wwhere am i..? what happened?" he said weakly. "some fatui agents attacked you.. im so sorry i didnt notice love." said zhongli. "im so glad you didnt die though <3" he added. "tthanks for ssaving me dear.." ayato said. "ill leave you be with your sister, shes been very concerned ever since she heard about the incident" zhongli said. he kissed ayatos forehead and walked out of the room. right as he leaves, ayatos sister, ayaka walks in. "brother are you alright!? ive been worried sick!" ayaka says while visibly panicking. "yyeah im alright thanks to zhongli.." ayato says while trying to calm ayaka down. "oh yeah about him." ayaka starts. ayato doesnt know what to expect. "youve been dating for two years when will you too take the next step?" she continues. ayato turns red. "i- i.. i dont know.. i was going to ask today but then the fatui. im just scared hed reject me.." ayato replied. "he would never!! and if he does, i will make sure to make him regret it." ayaka says while smiling in a warm but unsettling way. "ive got to go, im meeting up with yoimiya today! ive been making new friends thanks to her so i decided to take her out to eat!" ayaka says happily and leaves the room before ayato could say goodbye. with the remaining strength left in ayato, he gets out of bed and walks out of the room. zhongli sees him and runs towards him. "love what are you doing here? you should be resting!" zhongli told him. "i.. i have something important to ask.." ayato says in a very nervous tone.  "you can ask me anything love." zhongli says in a very calm, warm voice. "wwill you.. zhongli, become my one and only till death?" ayato says while pulling out a beautiful, gold ring with a tiny sapphire on it. "i.. i never thought youd ask, ofcourse love!" zhongli said exitedly. ayato turned red yet again. zhongli smiled and kissed him. "i cant wait." said zhongli. "neither can i." ayato replied.  "what about we take a long romantic stroll around the inazuma shores?" zhongli suggested. "id love to!" said ayato. they started walking towards the shore. "its sunset already?" ayato asked. "mhm, you were out for a couple of hours." zhongli replied. ayato looked shocked. zhongli smiled back. as they were walking on the shore, they get attacked by a group of treasure hoarders. this time, they were both prepared to fight. however, instead of fighting, a treasure hoarder, most likely the leader, walks up to zhongli and ayato and to their suprise, just asks for directions. "which way to the residence of sangonomiya kokomi? we have packages to deliver." the treasure hoarder said. "why are you then dressed like that?" both zhongli and ayato asked. "to avoid being attacked by nobushi. the names roy by the way. i know you guys. zhongli, the geo archon and ayato, the kamisato son." roy said. "alright.. she lives in watatsumi island. youll need a waverider to get there." ayato said. "thank you!" said roy as he headed off with hid group. "did we trust him too easily?" ayato asked. "not to worry love, kokomi knows how to handle nuisances like them." zhongli said, then kissed ayato on the cheeck. ayato started to calm down. "how about we get some boba? its on me to make up for your morning spill!" zhongli suggested. "awe, thank you dear. i would gladly go get boba with you <3" ayato replied while blushing. they started heading towards the stall. once they arrived, they started ordering. "two strawberry popping bobas please!" zhongli said. "comin up!" said the vendor. "thatll be 10 mora!" the vendor added. zhongli hands the vendor 10 mora while his boba is being made. he turns around, looks at ayato and smiles, then turns back to take the bobas. "enjoy your tea!" says the vendor. "thanm you we will!!" says zhongli. "can we start heading back to my house.. im getting quite tired..?" ayato asks. "ofcourse! anything for my love." zhongli replies and they start walking back to the estate. by the time they were back, they had drank all their boba. "its really cold and the guest room isnt ready so if you dont mind sharing a bed..?" ayato asks in an ankward voice. "id love to! it is a meaning of true love." zhongli replied. ayato blushed then smiled. they headed for ayatos bedroom. "i forgot how huge your bed is wow." zhongli said. "ah yeah, its lonely there though.." ayato replies. "its getting late, should we head to bed now love?" zhongli asks. "yup." ayato replies. ayato has a huge bed. it looks like it could fit seven people in it! its 11pm, zhongli and ayato are about to go to sleep. "goodnight dear." says ayato. "goodnight love <3" zhongli replies and hugs ayato. "please stay there, its warm.." ayato says while turning redder and redder. "you like it too? perfect!" zhongli says and kissed ayatos cheeck. the next morning they woke up to ayaka bursting in and shouting "yo lovebirds, want breakfast!?" ayato and zhongi woke up. "yes sister. could you PLEASE not wake us up like this!?" ayato told ayaka in a very annoyed tone. ayaka laughed, then walked out of the room. "i guess we should go eat now?" zhongli asked. "yeah. dont want ayaka coming back in.." ayato replied. they got up and went to eat breakfast. "pfft yalls are still in your ugly pjs." ayaka laughed. "shut up." ayato said. ayaka giggled and ran away. "your sister is funny." zhongli said and let out a smile.
