"Ahhhh! yes nakalapag din sa wakas!"
Masayang sigaw ni max habang nag uunat. Kakalabas niya lang ng airport.
It's been 5 years. And surely she doesn't still like the trapik sa EDSA.
She was working overseas. Obviously. She work as an admin. That job was pretty fun not if you let those depressed people get into your skin.
Except for providing place to the employees and making sure they had all their need in their apartment and such she also listen to those homesick peers of her.
She suddenly smiled.
One time there was this man that goes to her saying he feel like someone shoots beams at him while he sleep below his bed. It was funny until he end up telling him the same thing over and over and her convincing that it was all his imagination.
Then there goes this girl that suddenly packs all her things and go straight to the airport without her passport. that girl got her on the run.
On the other hand was this guard. He comes up to her saying he wants early vacation and such. Even tell her that there was someone died in his family. He came with the same excuse for a week and the list of someone dying came up to his dog dying. She always tell him he contact the ups everyday he turns up and says she already processing it. That goes for a year and the funny thing is that when his actual vacation came he doesn't go home! So much for being homesick.
The work is fun. actually she doesn't feels like she's working. Talking to people like you are involve but then no string attach wasn't suffocating.
opps. Too much english.
Natawa siya sa inner voice niya. Sometimes you really just got this feeling na may ibang tao sa loob mo.
As she was saying she loves her job. So why go back?
Let just say she needed money. Too much.
Sigaw niya. Yes it is her mother yet the woman isn't.
It was the woman who raised her as if she was her own. The same goes for all the kids who run up to her.
"Ateeeee!!"
She has a very big family. On this very orphanage.
The orphanage used to be small. Mama anne used to brought home some kids from the street.
She was one of those kid. Those first few kid.
Now the orphanage is so big there were hundred of kids. Somethibg that made her happy yet saddens her.
"Mama anne namiss kita."
Those first few kid grew up strong and confident despite lacking a family that should hold them firm.
They grew up smart and an achiver. Thanks to this very woman. They climed high. And now they're giving this home all they have. The place they belong. To the woman who wish they share their blood.
They were rise to be hamble yet head held high. She told them to not listen to the world and everyone could fuck up for all they care. So much for being a nun.
But that was what they needed. To be strong towards the cruel world. Way back then malayo ang distansya nila. Someone to hold on is what they need.
Just like him.
Mama anne told them to be nice and friendly just enough to judge those people up close. They feel like your guard wasn't up and they let you see them eventually. Yet in reality there were walls not thick but just enough for comfort. Then from there you deciced whether they could be trusted or not.
Exactly everything that I also told him.
They were not trusting. Even mama says so and she is a nun! That was where the story came from. Wanting to adopt doesn't make them all nice. Mama told us to take us time and be picky. After all she was always just there.
They were raise with too much love they doesn't have time hating their fate.
"Max bakit hindi mo ako kwentuhan tungkol sa kanya? Ang tagal na. Are you still bothered?"
She felt him shake with anger. She looked up to him as he lower his head. Anger turning into insecurities. Sinking lower than she could reach.
"Hey man. Look up."
She said as she force him to look to her eyes.
Yeah so much for looking up. She was smaller!
She gets to the bench and sign him yo follow.
Sumunod naman iyo. She rudely snatch his head up into her. Her hand both in his cheek.
"Hoy aso. Ako lang ang amo mo. Boss mo at master mo. You only look into my eyes! Mukha ko lang ang makikita kong reflection dyan kundi bubulagin kita! At shut them down ok? Don't listen to them so you could hear me more."
He looked her as if it was tge first time seeing her all over again.
Napangiti siya. Her most price possession.
"Nothing mama. Kagaya pa din ng kwento dati."
She said closing her eyes.
Being in too much thought also lead me back to somewhere even more far. Something I doesn't need right now at the moment.
