I was sat in the sitting room of the avengers building. Swirling a piece of my hair when I heard my teammates come back in. Again yet again, all I see is black and white. Natasha smiled when she saw me and ran over. "(Y/n) ! Did you find your soulmate yet ?" I shook my head. "Nope, not yet." I said groaning and let my head fall onto the table.
"Don't worry just yet Kid, I'm sure you'll find them." I looked up as Tony spoke up, the man that has at this point became my father figure. "Yeah yeah yeah." I said rolling my eyes." Peter came running in and sat down next to mr.
"Mr Stark is right (Y/n)." I smiled slightly looking at him. "Thanks Pete."
"No problem! Have you guys seen Dr Strange ?" Everyone shook their head. "He might be in his house, Peter." I looked at to see a very tired and very grumpy Bucky. "Bucky Come on, don't be rude to the kid." I said patting Peters shoulder before walked over to Bucky, grabbing my cold coffee that I was going to drink and gave it to him. "Looks like you're needing this more than I do." I said.
He just took the drink and muttered a thank you. "What's gotten you all grumpy today ?"
"Our captive saying nothing is what." I looked at him before. "What when did we bring someone in ?"
"Last night." Natasha said walking back over to me. "Ahh who was it anyways ?" I asked honestly when I suddenly heard a voice from behind me. Which made me scream and fall to the ground. "My brother-"
"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST" I yelled as I literally fell right onto my ass. I swore I could hear Bucky laughing in his head.
"Jesus- are you okay (y/n) ?" Natasha said trying not to laugh. I glared at her and she mouthed a sorry. Then suddenly everyone came in concerned about the sound, and I mean everyone. "What the fuck happened here." A very tired and grumpy Clint asked walking in the room.
"I accidentally scared her" Thor said, his hand awkwardly on his head. "It's alright everyone. I'm okay." I said dusting myself off. "And your brother ?. You caught your brother ?" I asked walking over to Thor. "Yeah, Loki. Yet he has not once said a thing." He said clearly upset that his own brother isn't saying anything.
"I could try." I said, everyone looked at me and blinked. "You ?" Bucky said trying to hold back a smirk. "Yes mr fake arm. Me, I may have no powers but I can fight." I glared at him. "Alright guys calm down." Tony said getting in between us. He looked at me. "You sure kid ? You haven't met him before, you don't know what he's capable of."
I nodded looking at him with confidence. "I'm sure, Tony. I'll be fine, I promise. Now will you stop being my dad and be my friend and let me go do our job ?" I asked, he sighed and moved out of my way, his arm extended to the hallway. "Go on. Just call us immediately if he doesn't anything."
"Alright alright." I said laughing with my hands up in the air. "Don't miss me too much." I said looked directly at Bucky and winked, I could see his face get mad, god it's funny to make him mad when he knows he can't do anything to me. I walked down to where we keep everyone and walked through the doors.
Taking a deep breath I looked up to see Loki. He looked directly at me as colours started to flood my eyes. I took a step back confused. He looked at me and smirked. "And who are you, my beautiful empress." He said. My eyes widened as I realised what just happened
Fuck, he's my soulmate.
