Veer looked up at the starlight sky and closed his eyes. He felt the gentle breeze on his face and imagined his soulmates tresses cascading down his chest as they made love. Bani...sweetheart I miss you. Kaash hum dono ke beech mein itni dooriyaan nahi hoti. For once in his life he was praying that he was not a Cheel, but a Naag instead. While he thought of Bani's frail hands on his cheeks Veer smelled something familiar. It was a mixture of rose, vanilla, and a special sandalwood that was incredibly hard to find and could only be afforded by royalty. Bani? Veer muttered and opened his eyes. He looked up at the moon and shook his head. Bani yahaan kaise aasakhti hai? Veer you've been drinking too much...I should go sleep now. While walking past the bushes to go the back entrance of the house he saw a girl in the distance standing by the gate and waving her hands up and down at one of the guards. Normally Veer wouldn't get involved in such matters, but something about the girl seemed familiar. When he looked at her eyes he couldn't believe it.

The cheel guard shook his head at a stubborn Bani before leaving to go inside and ask another guard for help to make the girl go away. Once she saw that the path was clear Bani tiptoed towards the entrance and began to make her way through the grand corridor with marble pillars on each side. She noticed some girls giggling by the the stairs so she figured the stairs must lead to the party hall, but before she could take a step forward somebody grabbed her and pulled her behind a pillar. Bani gasped when she felt the warm hands on her waist, and she shuddered at the contact. She knew not only from the touch, but also from the scent that the man was no other person but her boyfriend. Veer turned Bani around gently and pinned her to the wall while looking into her almond eyes. Yeh aankhein main kahi bi pehchaan sakhta hoon. As he gently pulled her veil away from her lips and nose Bani gulped. She could see the anger in his eyes and knew right away that she was about to be rebuked for taking such a big risk. Veer...main...I can explain. Bani said to him and rubbed his chest to calm him down.

Veer clenched his jaw and pulled his face away as Bani leaned in for a kiss. She frowned and wrapped her hands around his waist, and soon enough he was taking her to the water fountain in the back garden. While leading her there he scolded Bani under his breath and refused to listen to a word she was saying. Tumaara dhimaak toh nahi kharaab hogaya Bani?! Yahaan kyun aayi ho?! Aggar tume kuch hogaya tho? Thank God main vaahan aiyn waqt parr paunch gaya. What if someone could smell the Naagin scent off of you? Bani looked down in shame and nodded timidly. He waited for an answer, and was about to scold her some more but he saw the tears brimming her eyes and her wrinkled chin. Abh rohna math...Bani? Bani...okay theek hai. I'm sorry. Come here baby...you know I hate to see you cry. I'm so sorry sweetheart...muje chilaana nahi chaahiye tha. Veer pulled her into his arms and kissed her cheek. She looked back up at him and pecked his lips as a thank you before whispering Maine apni behen ko kehte hue sunna ke aaj yaahan hamla hone vaala hai. Sabh guards iss party mein busy honge...Veer...main nahi chaahti thi ke tume kuch hojaaye. Muje bauhat beychani horahi thi tho main yaahan agayi...I know ke bauhat baddi risk uthaayi lekin main kuch bi karjaaoongi thaake tum theek ho. Muje apni jaan se badkar tumaari jaan hai. She looked at him with a stubborn frown. Veer smiled at Bani and kissed her forehead affectionately. Bass itni si baat? Bani tumne shayad galat sunna hoga. Tum itni zidd kyun karti ho Bani? She laughed and put her hands on his shoulder. Veer looked at her in disbelief as she giggled at his state. Seriously? Iss situation mein time hassi aarahi hai? Before he could get carried away, Veer shook his head at her. Muje distract math karro. Let's go now. Tumaara godha kahaan hai? Bani slapped Veer's back after he turned around. He looked to the right and arched his eyebrow and Bani jumped onto his back and kissed his shoulder. Please Veer...please abh tum zidd math karna. Abh main agaayi hoon toh rehne doh na? You know I hate riding at night but I still did just for you...don't let my hard work go to waste. Veer yeh toh naa insaafi hui na? Tum Naag vansh mein aathe ho aur maine tume kulli baahon se welcome kiya aur tum muje Cheel vansh se itni jaldi baahar nikhaalrahe ho? At least apna kamra toh dikhaado. Veer couldn't help but smile at his adorable girlfriend. He jumped up slightly and put his hands under Bani's bum, scooching her up higher. Theek hai. Kamra kya...main poora garr mein tume gumaaoonga. But if I sense that someone is coming then I'm going to hide...to keep you safe. Aur kabhardaar aggar hassi mazaak mein muje distract karne ki koshish ki. Aur zyaada oochi aawaaz mein matth bolna. Bani laughed out loud and bit her tongue when Veer glared at her.
