Veer looked at his dad with hurt in his eyes and shook his head. Dad...aisa kuch nahi...jadoo...tch tch. Hum sach mein ek doosre se pyaar karte hai. Bauhat pyaar...I can't live without her aur hum jald se jald shaadi bi karna chaahte hai. Dad please ek bhaar mill toh lijiye. Voh bauhat achi ladki hai...please...Anand stepped back and breathed out loud while looking left and right trying to piece everything together. Main koi burrah sapna toh nahi dekh raha? Tu...tu naagin se? Kabh...kabh milla usse? Kabse jaante ho? Veer put his hand on his dad's shoulders but just one glare from him was enough to let him know not to touch him right now. Bas ek mahine pehle...Naag kingdom mein milla...dad please. Aap jaise soch rahe hai vaisa nahi hai. Voh bauhat achi hai...she's amazing. Aur voh mujse itna pyaar karti hai aur main usse. Anand sat down on the bench and put his head back on the table. Ek mahina? Paagal hogaya hai tu! Ek ladki ko ek mahine ke liye jaante ho, voh bi ek naagin ko, aur itna barrosa kharr behta?! Aur aggar milla toh uski laash tumaare saamne hi hogi! Veer came up to his dad and put his finger up in anger. Bass! Aap abh Bani ke khilaaf ek shabd bi nahi bhole ge! Main pyaar karta hoon usse aur uska saath kabhi nahi chodunga! Chaahe muje aapka yeh mehel chodna bi padhe toh main voh bi karne ke liye thayaar hoon! Aur kahabar daar aggar Bani ko kuch karne ki himmat kiyi. Aggar usko ek karoch bi aayi toh mujse burrah koi nahi hoga. Main uske liye marr bi sakta hoon aur kissi ko maar bi sakta hoon! Anand stood up to speak but Veer had walked out of the room and went out to the forest to let off some steam. He didn't see his son for the next several hours until midnight when Veer walked in and went to his bedroom without saying a word to his father.

The next morning Bani awoke when she heard her owl fly in through the window. She looked over at her back and saw a tiny white paper strapped around her. Bani quickly came up to the window and took out the paper, unfolding it in a hurry to read Veer's response.

Bani's message:

Veeranshu hum kal mil sakhte hai? Kuch bhaat karni thi tumse...muje yahaan tumaare bina kuch theek nahi lagg raha. Tumaari bauhat yaadh aarahi hai aur aaj neend bi nahi aarahi. I have a lot on my mind...let me know baby. I love you.

Veer's response:

Sweetheart itna pareshaan kyun horahi ho? Main hoon na? Sabh theek kardunga jo bi problem hai. Kal shayad nahi milpaaoonga. Yahaan koi jashan rakha hai dad ne...toh jaana padehga. Lekin parso pakkah miloonga. Love you too Bani...can't wait to see that adorable face again.

Bani frowned and put the paper in a tin box in her her dresser. She looked around her messy bedroom and started to clean it and that's when she heard her sister walking by the room gossiping with her childhood friend. Maine toh sunna ke humaare sehna Cheel Vansh mein jaa rahe hai jang ke liye. Kayi dino ke liye soch rahe the aur abh jaa rahe hai...umeed karti hoon ke hum Naag aur Naagino ki hi jeet hogi. Bani gasped, dropping her bracelet to the ground. She looked around the room in panic, thinking of the worst that could happen. Yes the Cheel army was mighty, but lately the Naag and Naagin's in the military had been focusing more on their tactics and training day and night. Nuy nuy...aggar Veer ko kuch hogaya? Aur aaj toh waahan koi function chal raha hai...the officers won't be on their guard and they might be drinking too. Main kya karoon? By the time my owl gets there it might be too late. Just one more image of a bloodied Veer in her mind was enough to convince her to do the unthinkable. She would sneak into the Cheel kingdom herself and ensure that no harm comes to Veer. Bani changed into a white two piece outfit, covered her mouth and nose with a sheer white veil, and then sprayed herself with an ample amount of Rose water to dilute her Naagin scent. She was not quite a Naagin yet so thankfully she didn't have to spray too much and was hoping that no Cheel would be able to sniff her out.
