"You'll be slow in the water" mother explained, taking her hand and showing it around mom added "these children are not even true navi" my eyebrows furrowed as mother said that since non of them were sky people so I looked over to Aonung who cave me the same confused look back. He looked stupid.
"Yes we are" the pretty girl fought back, but Mother didn't listen and now took the hand from the guy that Tsireya giggled at and showed it into the crowd while yelling "they have demon blood!". Another loud gasp went through the crowd and some na'vi even started hissing.
That's when the father of them showed her his hand and said "look, I was born like the sky people and now I'm navi, we can adapt, we will adapt" "my husband was toruk makto, he led the clans to victory against the sky people" the women murmured in a intimidating kinda way.
"This you call victory, hiding amongst strangers... it seems eywa has turned her back on you" Mother eyed the forest guy closely "chosen one".
His mate hissed at her when she said that but Mother just hissed back even louder while Father and the other guy gave each other a look that basically asked the other one to step in.
"I apologise for my mate she had gone a long way and she is exhausted" Jake apologised while his mate, which name I didn't know whispered multiple times that he shouldn't apologise for her.
Dad suddenly went in the middle of all of this like he wanted to announce something "Toruk makto is a great warrior, a lot of people know his story but we we metkajener are not at war... we cannot let you bring your war here"
I took another glance at the oldest son of them and noticed that he had been staring at me the whole time without me noticing. I gave him a smug smirk which got him quickly turning his head and me a little giggle.
Meanwhile the forest guy took the cute na'vi girl on his arm and argued back "I'm done with war, okay I just want is to keep my family safe" mom and dad looked at each other like they were talking with there eyes. "Oturu has been asked" jakes mate muttered before glancing up at them.
Mother had a defeated look on her face and dad announced "Toruk makto and his family will stay with us" I wasn't really sure if I should be happy or not but I told myself that the only way to find out is to try it.
"Treat them like you're brothers and sisters, but they do not know the Sea so they will be like baby's taking there first breath, teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless" he ended.
They all thanked him and dad continued "my son Aonung, my daughter Tsireya and my daughter Mei'lu will show you're children what to do".
Tsireya seemed really excited but Aonung was just really annoyed and whined "Father why-" but got cut of from father saying "it has been decided".
I had mixed feelings but I was sure happy to spend some time with the new guy. "Come, i will show you the village" Tsireya smiled before walking into our village.
I helped her carry the bags of the sully family when I heard a sweet voice from the side ask "do you need help?". I learned his name was Neteyam and he was the oldest sibling of the sully family. He had a pretty cute smile but since I didn't need help I answered "not really, but thank you" while walking forewords into there new home.
"This way!" Tsireya guided them and when we arrived I informed "this is for you, your new home" and showed them a beautiful tent with blue accents. Neytiri dropped there carpet and looked shocked around.
Everyone had mixed emotions printed on there faces so I decided that we should just give them some time to live in.
The next day...
I dived into the ocean, I loved the feeling of the water on my skin, it just felt like home. Every time I saw the underwater world it felt like it was the first time again, but I didn't let myself get distracted again and just looked back at the others again.
Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuk were still nearly under the surface and stared at there surroundings. The way they swam was incredibly funny and cute which got me laughing until I used all my air so I breathed in another time.
Cause of there thin tails and arms they were really slow underwater which was why we had to stop multiple times but I had no problem with that since I enjoyed it.
Tsireya, Aonung, Rotxo and I swam further down but when I turned around again they were gone so I looked up and they were at the surface gasping for air.
'Swim together with us' Tsireya signed Lo'ak but he just responded with furrowed eye browns and a look to Neteyam, to check if he understood.
I smiled and just waved them over since they probably couldn't use sign language and Neteyam gave me a even brighter smile back.
We swam further into the sea but halfway through they vanished out of my sigh field again. 'What's wrong with them?' Aonung asked to which I answered 'I have no idea but we should check on them'.
'They are bad divers' Rotxo made fun of them but Tsireya interrupted him and signed 'Stop! They're learning' followed by a judgemental look.
Me and the rest swam upwards until we reached the surface and I placed myself next to Neteyam and Tsireya. I leaned over to Neteyam and held onto his hand while I mumbled into his ear "are you alright?".
He slowly turned his head and didn't say a word, like his brain didn't work for a few seconds before he answered "never better" which got me chuckling.
I wanted to take my hand back since I didn't want to bother him but he held onto it so fixated it nearly hurt so I just left it anchored in his hand. I didn't know why but a smile rose onto my face but I chose to ignore it and just listen to Tsireya.
"Are you okay?" she asked Into the round and Tuk yelled "You are too fast! Wait for us!" back. "Just breath" Tsireya advised when suddenly Aonung's head popped up next to Tsireya in the sea and laughed "You are not good divers, maybe good at swinging through tre-" but that just got him a slap on the neck from Tsireya.
"Come on Bro, we don't speak this finger talk" Neteyam explained while making a hand gesture with his free hand, and Lo'ak continued with "we don't know what you're saying".
"Well teach you" I threw in before Rotxo changed the subject and loudly asked "where is Kiri?" And Tuk repeated "Kiri?" "Yes Kiri, where is she?".
"Did you see her?" Tsireya asked while I looked around if I could spot her. I let go of Neteyams hand, turned around and looked underwater but I didn't see her.
Where is Kiri...
