Vent/comfort #1

'I want to die, but I'm scared. I just lost one of my only reasons to be alive, and it's gonna be a year or two until I can get them back, and it's ALL MY FAULT. I don't know what to do anymore. But, at least in my mind, everything can be okay, and I can have Hero comfort me in my mind. But soon, if this keeps happening, it might not be enough to keep me alive.' Anna thought, as he slowly falls asleep, with Ryan, the squishmallow his best friend gave him for his birthday in his arms, his eyes burning, and probably red from all the crying.

"Hey!.. Are you okay?" Cit's eyes shot open, to see a tall boy with fluffy brown hair, Hero.
"H-huh..? What's happening -?" He said, and tried to sit up but fell back down with a loud thump.
"H-hey! Be careful, I don't want you to get hurt! Here let me help you.." Hero said, as he very carefully helped Cit up.
"W-wheres Ryan?.." Cit asked, a worried look on his face as he frantically looked around.
"Calm down, he's at home, we were just walking to the park and you zoned out."
"..I-I... need Ryan..." Cit stammered, frantically looking around again, frequently looking down at his left arm, and at the scars he had, as tears fell down his cheeks, and he started aggressively rubbing away the tears. 'No no no no no.. You can't cry right now, stop being a crybaby.'
He pulled at his hair, he couldn't stop the tears, he's so useless. Suddenly a hand touched his shoulder, and he heavily flinched, looking up to see an extremely worried looking Hero.
"Hey.. it's alright, I'm here. Calm down, here, let's get home and we can talk after we get you Ryan, okay?." Hero says, trying to comfort him.

"Do you feel a bit better now? I could call Noi to see if they could try to calm you down more." Cit flinched at their name. he ruined that already, that's not gonna do anything but make him feel even worse..
"Oh..? Did something happen between you two? What's wrong?" Hero asked, his expression gaining more concern with each negative motion Cit made, 'Cit and Noi are, or were inseparable, what could've happened between them to cause that reaction?..'
"I-..." Cit started to tear up even more, just thinking about it, and squeezed Ryan tighter.
"Hey, it's alright if you don't wanna talk about it, I understand it could be overwhelming, especially if it's something with Noi, I know how close you two are." Cit curled more into himself at this, as this was just another reminder that he screwed up big time.
"U-uh, I'm sorry!- Did I say something wrong..? I didn't mean to I was just trying to help..-" Hero cut himself off "Ah, uh.. Sorry. U-uhm.. s-so uh, are your reactions irrational or..?"
"I... Don't know anymore.." Cit managed to get out, before shoving his face into Ryan and curling up more, at this point he was practically shaking.
"Okay.. I'll be right back.. I'm gonna go get Kel." Hero says, before standing up.
"W-wait! Please don't leave me.." Cit stammers, suddenly grabbing Hero's sweater, more tears falling from his face.
"O-oh, alright!.." Hero stutters, obviously trying to stay confident, but failing, before sitting down Infront of Cit, and suddenly getting hugged tightly. "S-so uh.. am I at least able to text Kel to tell him to come here?."
Cit nodded, but still flinched when Hero moved to grab his phone

Hero: Hey, Kel can you come over? There's kinda an emergency with Cit

Kel: yeah sure! What kind of emergency?

Hero: Well, kinda like, mental health emergency I guess?

Kel: oh. alright, I'll see what I can do, I'll be there in a bit

Kel opened the door slowly, not even knocking before entering.
Cit flinched and instinctively turned around but calmed down a bit when he saw Kel, and also remembered Hero was right here with him.
"Oh.. it seems worse than I thought. Here uh, I brought some ice cream... I'll just.. go put it in the freezer for later."
After Kel got situated, he decided to ask, "So, what triggered him to cause you being trapped now?"
"Uh, he zoned out when we were walking to the park, and then when he snapped out of it, he was asking where Ryan was, so we went home, he was crying, and I got up so I could get you, and he didn't want me to leave so now he's clinging to me. I think he had a friend related incident, specifically, with Noi." Cit flinched when he heard Noi's name.
"Ohh.. that explains it. hey Cit, you alright?.." Kel asked, leaning over towards him.
"I.. A-Actually... W-well.." Cit stammers, unable to respond in a coherent sentence.
"O-oh.. So it's like that. Hey uh.. you... know that we'll always... be here for you.. right..?"
"B-but...N-..Noi.." Cit struggled to get any words, but he continued anyways, tears falling from his face as he mentioned his best friend, who he is gonna have to go so long without, because of his stupidity. "..is the best person I've met, and... W-we promised we wouldn't leave each other, b-but now I can't be friends with them, cause of one STUPID decision I made and...And I don't... I don't know if... If I'll be able to last two years without them..."
"H-hey, calm down!.. I'm.. I'm sure we can fix this!..." Kel paused multiple times in his sentence, trying to find what to say, wanting, and trying to help but not knowing what to say or do.
"Hey Kel, uh.. I think that's enough..."
"B-but I'm just trying to help..?- I'm sorry Cit.!- I didn't mean to upset you-!.." Kel backed up a bit, tears started to form in his eyes, overwhelmed with the urge to help his friend, but the stress of not knowing how to.
"K-kel!.." Cit stumbled out of Hero's arms and towards Kel, but fell practically directly on his face. "I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean-... P-please don't leave!-" More tears fell from his eyes as he imagined them leaving him too.
"Everyone just calm down please! Everything is alright, okay? Please.." Hero tried to calm the situation down, not wanting to have to deal with two clingy people.
"I-.. I'm sorry.. I don't know what came over me I-"
"Kel, just take a deep breath, okay? It's alright."
As Kel took deep breaths, Cit did too, as an attempt to calm down as well. Eventually, it worked, and now everyone was more calm.

"So uh.. what now?" Kel asked, more calm than before.
"...What type of ice cream did you bring?.."
"Oh! It's strawberry cheesecake, since I knew that's your favorite! I can go get it if you want." Kel replied, smiling.
"O-okay.." Cit flinched slightly when Kel got up, since he wasn't completely calmed down yet, and he was still clingy, considering he was basically attached to Hero again, and he was still a bit jumpy too.

After ice cream, they all hung out in the living room, deciding not to talk about what triggered Cit, as to not reset their progress on calming him down. Hero and Cit were on the couch, and Kel was on the floor, and they were all watching TV, but then Cit fell asleep.
"Haha, you're trapped!" Kel teased, pointing at Hero.
"You're lucky that I'm trapped right now, or you would be running around the room!" Hero jokingly threatened, with a grin.
"Alright alright I'm sorry!" Kel insincerely apologized, putting his hands up.
"You better be!" Hero chuckled, then remembered Cit was sleeping.

that's the end, I'll make more parts anytime I think I'll need comfort for something (or if I do need comfort)
