Chapter 6.

You let out a breath as you feel the water grasing your legs, lightly parting and splashing your skin as the Ilu started moving.

"Don't worry," he finally said, "I won't drop you."

You smiled at that.

"Good."

The Ilu was speeding through the water surface and you couldn't help but enjoy this ride.

"Keep a strong grip," you reminded Neteyam, "Once we go underwater, don't let go."

"Hold on tight." he replied as he grabbed your thigh.

You blushed as you looked down at the scene in front of you. His skin against yours, the warm feeling despite the cool water droplets. The grip you had around his torso tightened a bit as you braced yourself to be underwater.

Once the creature dove underwater, you tried to keep your eye out for any mistake Neteyam made, so that you could tell him later, and instruct what he could improve on. 

The Ilu sped through the water, dodging some rocks and water plants. You extend one of your arms and lightly graze a sea creature swimming along your side. 

Resurfacing, the Ilu slowed down. Neteyam flicked his head back, to get his hair from his face, and they hit you in the face lightly. You chuckled at that. He turned his face to look at you.

"What?" he asked, wearing a confused look on his face.

You shook your head as a 'nevermind'.

A comfortable silence came upon the two of you as his Ilu slowly made its way back to the dock.

You raise your hand to move some hair away over your shoulder and drop your hand on your thigh. You then look down as you touch his hand and realize that he still has a light grip on your skin.

A warm feeling starts to build up inside you.

Oh you liked this.

"Netty," you suddenly said, "I wanna show you something."

He looks back at you again, and squeezes your thigh lightly to let you know to keep talking.

"It's a place very important to me," you start talking again as you unwrap the hand that is still around his torso and begin to trace the patterns he had on his back lightly while you talked. He shivered.

Oh he liked this.

"Well if it's so important to you, it will be just as important to me.'' He said calmly. His fingers grazed the skin on your thigh back and forth before he remove his hand entierly and held on to the Ilu with both hands. 

You were almost disappointed by the action.

Almost.

"So where is this place?" he asked as he helped you get off his Ilu. You could have done it on your own, but you let him do it, this one time. He grabbed your waist as you slipped off the creature's back. He brought you down to the water, that was up to your hips. Neteyam's Ilu swam close to his side.

"I call it the Hyacinth beach." you say as you turn to face him.

He nodded and looked down at you.

"Is there a reason you call it that?" he leaned down slowly.

"You'll see." you say just above a whisper as you lean up. He glances from your eyes, to your lips.

You gulp quietly and took a deep breath.
