"Their arms are thin, their tails are weak, you will be slow in water," Ronal announced. She then turned towards the older girl and grabbed her hand. "These children aren't even true Na'vi"

Everyone gasped in horror, including you, but not in horror. You quickly glance at your hand, and hide them from sigh. You looked at the kids' faces, to see a lot of hurt and mixed feelings, you understood them, you were once too, not really considered as a true Na'vi but you somehow got around.

"Yes we are" the girl said sternly as she tugged her hand away. Ronal then walked towards the younger boy.

"They have demon blood," she said.

"Look," the father of the newcomers yelled to your mother, "Look!" He showed her his hand, which also had 5 fingers. " I was born one of the sky people but I am Na'vi now, you can adapt," he said, turning to your father, "We will adapt!"

The woman, she seemed to be his wife then spoke, "My husband was Toruk Makto," she looked at her husband, "he led the clan to victory against the sky people"

"This so called victory? Hiding amongst strangers? It seems like Eywa has turned her back on you-"

The woman snarled at your mother, which she returned. You look to Tsireya, who was looking at her father. You then glance at Toruk Makto and back to your father, who both held the same face of worry.

Toruk Makto quickly stepped in, "I apologize for my mate, she's-"

"Do not apologize for me" she interrupted him.

"She's flown a long way and she's exhausted" he gave her a look.

The reef people surrounding the strangers were quiet, all looking at the chief.

"Toruk Makto is a great war leader, all Na'vi people know his story,"

Everyone in the crowd slowly nodded.

"But we, the Metkayina, are not at war. We cannot let you bring war here" The chief announced.

Toruk Makto sighed, "I'm done with war.. I just want to keep my family safe" The look in his eyes was genuine. You felt bad for them, it must have been horrible to move away from your home.

For a while, everyone just looked between the newcomers and the chief and his mate. Without any words said, Ronal nodded to Tonowari, as if giving him permission, and finally he spoke again.

"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us as our brothers and sisters. They do not know the sea, so they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless" the chief said to the group of Metkayina people, looking at the darker blue Na'vi.

The father let out a sigh of relief and looked at his youngest, "What do we say?" he asked.

"Thank you" she said as she turned to the chief and his mate, the others in the family did the same.

"My son Ao'nung, and my daughter's, will help you to your new home" Tonowari said as he pointed at the three of you, who were standing at his left.

The attention of the newcomers were all on the three of you. You straighten your back to look more presentable.

"Hello newcomers," You said, your voice strong but welcoming. You introduce yourself, saying your name while putting on a fake smile.

You heard Ao'nung and his friends giggle and mock the way you said your greetings. You shot Ao'nung a quick glare which shut him up.

"This is Tsireya," you said as she waved, mostly looking at the younger brother. "and this is Ao'nung" He puffed out his chest, to seem more bigger.

"We will show you your new home," Tsireya quickly added smiling.

Taking a few of the newcomers' belongings you made your way through the village.

---

Stopping in front of a pretty big hut, you looked at Toruk Makto.

"This is where you and your family will be staying," you smiled.

"Thank you" he answered as he turned to their new home. You lead them inside as you put the stuff you were holding down. The youngest daughter smiled at you and smiled back, adding a little wave.

You were aiming to leave the hut, so walking to the way out you smiled at the older sister, who just looked down. Looking away from her, your eyes made contact with the oldest brother. You looked him up and down before finally leaving the hut.

Walking out you heard a faint praising of the hut made by Toruk Makto and a drop of something heavy.

Walking further away, you also felt someone looking at you. Looking back you saw the older brother staring at you.

"You have a staring problem?" Stopping in your tracks you yell to him.

You saw him chuckle and waved you on.

Looking away, you smile a bit. This is going to be fun.
