Vivid nights ~ A difficult decision

Weekend Garage, Friday after school: The start of spring break

It's finally spring break. You're tired, everyone's tired, this is a week you've all been craving since the end of winter break.. The first thing you do is go home, put your stuff away, and head over to "Weekend Garage" for an afternoon coffee to wake you up. Weekend Garage is the local cafe where Ken Shiraishi, former musician, and his daughter, An Shiraishi, member of the upcoming group "Vivid Bad Squad", Work. You've been going there for a while and so you and An have gotten to know each other better. You've seen her in school before, but never really got the chance to meet up or talk with her. So going to the cafe might've been a great decision you made,

Anyways, you head over once your stuff is put away, sitting at a single table so you don't get anyone to sit beside you, as you just wanted to be left alone for a bit.. but not long after you sit down, An comes up to your table. She is the waitress after all, but today, she seems more than excited to see you.
"Ready to order?" She asks.
"Just a black coffee for today.. I'm worn out" You reply in a soft, tired tone
"Coming right up!" She said, writing it down on her notepad "but hey, one more thing"
"Hm?" You look up at her, confused
She slaps a note onto your table "Go ahead and read it and talk to me when my shifts over, can't talk right now, I gotta get back to work, the place is booked as you can see.. cya later" she said this and quickly left, barely explaining things.. but you really can't help it when you work at a popular cafe that almost everyone in town loves.
Despite how tired you feel, you pick up the note and give it a read
" Hi! I wanted to invite you to our yearly camping trip at *park name* We've been friends for so long I thought I might as well try to see if you're interested. (It does get pretty boring with just me and dad, heh..) Anyways, just come talk to me later once you've made up your mind! We're leaving Saturday so don't be late!!" -An
Sloppy handwriting, rushed wording... Yep, that's An alright.
"*A camping trip..?*" You think to yourself.. I mean, it would be nice to get out of town for a little while, especially on break.. You decided you'll think about it when you get home, and come back later tonight to talk to An.

You receive your coffee from An, pretty much downing it... once you're done, you pick up the note, and head home.. Once home, you decide to skip dinner and go straight to your room. You read the note once, twice, trice over... but you still can't make a decision.. You would like to go, but then again, the outdoors wasn't exactly your forte.. but you also didn't want to disappoint An and her dad.. This whole thing was stressful..

Your mom calls you down. She notices you didn't eat, and is worried something might be bothering you.. you go down, and she sits with you on the sofa.
"Sweetie, what's wrong... you completely skipped dinner, it's unlike you to do that.."
"It's nothing..." you replied, still staring at the note
"What's that?" She asks
"Just... just an invitation"
"May I see it?"
"..." you hesitate, but give her the note anyways.
She read it over a bit.. "Oh, isn't An that girl that works at the cafe?"
"Yeah.."
"Well I think a little camping trip might be good for you.. is making a decision the reason you're so down?" She looks at you, worried
"That obvious, huh?.. yeah, I want go, but at the same time I'm not exactly too excited of spending the week outdoors in the woods day and night.. you know I'm not an outdoors person"
"I know, sweetie, but it's always good to try new things! This girl and her father would be really happy to have you join them.."
"And that's why it's hard!" *you almost shout* "I don't want to hurt their feelings by not showing up.."
"And even if you do decline, I'm sure An would understand..."
"How do you know?? You barely know her.."
She paused for a moment, thinking of the right words to say.. "Well, honey, it's your decision. I'm not going to force anything on you.. just think carefully about what you want. Don't worry about other in the scenario, think only about what you want specifically."
".."
"Here, let's go eat dinner... a nice meal should help you relax and think better" she helps you up and takes you into the kitchen, giving you the food she made.
"...alright, mom" you sit down to eat, thinking about what you're gonna do.. go camping for the whole week.. or stay home with the risk of hurting An.. the choice is all yours.
