I went over and sat next to him and answered, "Not good. Rachel and I were the only ones trying to write and the others were all having a pillow fight. It is impossible to try and think of lyrics when you are constantly being hit in the head with a pillow."

"Oh, I'm sorry" Puck said

"It's okay," I put my head on his shoulder and looked at the others, "How bout you guys?"

"Not good either" Sam said

"All this one can think about is Rachel." Mike said motioning towards Finn

"Hey, am not" Finn tried defending

"You so are," Puck said

I playfully hit his chest, "Ur probably not any better,"

"He most definitely isn't. All he wants to talk about is you," Sam says

"Dude!" Puck says

"I think it's cute," I say, taking my head off his shoulder to kiss his cheek before returning it to its place.

We continue talking for another 1-2 hours and I go back to my hotel room. Shortly after I get back, Rachel leaves to go meet up with Finn. The girls (and Kurt) are doing some random meditation, yoga thing but I said no because we still have to write songs for nationals. While they were doing that, I decided to go to the boys' hotel room to see if I could hang out there for a little bit. I knocked and no one answered, I knocked again but still no answer. I decided to text Puck to see where he was.

Y/n♥️: Hey, where are you? No one is answering the door

Puck♥️: We went out to help Finn with Rachel

Puck♥️: Did you need something?

Y/n♥️: I was just wondering if I could hang in your room for a little while to try and write.

Y/n♥️: Everyone else is doing some weird yoga meditation shit

Puck♥️: Why don't you join them?

Puck♥️: You need to take a break from trying to write

Y/n♥️: But we need these songs done

Puck♥️: We have tomorrow to do it as well

Y/n♥️: Fine

Y/n♥️: But no one better come complaining to me when we don't have any songs done for nationals

Puck♥️: Okay

Y/n♥️: Puck

Y/n♥️: I love you

Puck♥️: I love you too

I went back into my room and joined everyone in the meditation yoga. After a few hours, everyone besides me is asleep and Rachel walks in the room with teary eyes. I get up and go hug her.

"You don't have to tell me anything, just know I'm here for you" I tell her

"Thank you, Y/n," she says

"Of course."

Eventually she and I fell asleep.

**Time skip to the morning of nationals**

I was awoken by nerves; it was like my body knew today was nationals. I just laid there, waiting for the nerves to die down so I could go back to sleep but that never happened. So, I decided to take a shower and finish getting ready for today. Everyone else woke up and took turns getting ready. I was bored and I knew Finn was an early bird, so I texted him to see if any of the boys were awake.
