"Look at this new photo I got!" Flans exclaimed as he pinned a blurry photo of a large, black blob with red, glowing orbs for eyes and huge wings onto a cork-board littered with blurry photos of cryptids.
"John, I'm busy right now-" Linnell sighed as his hands hovered over his black typewriter.
"What's so goddamn important, hm?" Flans asked as he walked over to Linnell's desk and leaned against it.
"I'm writing a salty letter to the woman who said we were idiots." Linnell continued writing, the circular keys clacking as he pressed them.
"She's an idiot, y'know!" Flans exclaimed as he threw his hands up in the air.
Linnell was silent as he was focused on his typing.
"Earth to John-" Flans waved a hand in front of Linnell's face.
"Go make a sandwich or something. Just let me be." Linnell sighed.
Flans nodded as he went into the small but big kitchen, opening the fridge. All that was in the fridge was a rotten tomato, a carton of spoiled milk and moldy sausage links.
"John, there's nothing to eat-" Flans sighed as he slammed the fridge door.
"Go to the store." Linnell sighed again as he rubbed his temples.
Flans left the apartment without a word and went to the supermarket.
