KOMI CAN'T COMMUNICATE X READER PART TWO

Start from the beginning

She then pulled out the notebook and pen you'd given her that morning, flipping to the first page and jotting something down.

Thank you, Inoue.

Thank you for being my friend and giving me this notebook.

It makes me feel really warm inside.

You frowned at that.

"Call me (y/n)." you had uttered, averting eye contact. In truth, you felt bad. You'd originally become her friend out of pity, but even so, she appreciated it.

How sweet.

You felt a stare drill into the side of your head. Oh gosh, what did Tadano want? You boredly glared back at the boy, causing him to flinch. "What do you want?"

"Uhm, sorry I was just wondering..." he paused, rethinking if he wanted to go through the embarrassment of asking his question. "Well, I want to help Komi gain friends, but I can't do much if I don't have friends myself. And that got me wondering... Are you and me.... Are... Are we friends?"

You deadpanned.

At your lack of response, the male sighed, forcibly slamming his face into his desk; You and Komi jolted. He then raised his head, glaring at a student in the front of the room with an uneasy scowl.

He then stood, walking over to them.

"Um, Osana..." He froze up, sweat rolling down his face as the person turned to look up at him.

"Hmm?" Osana, as Tadano called them, suddenly perked up, "Heeey! So, tell me, what can your childhood friend, Osana Najimi, do for you, Tadano?"

The boy and yourself wore similar expressions; confusion and shock; and slight disgust on your part.

"And Komi and (y/n)."

Tadano yelped, turning to see both you and the ravenette standing beside him. "When did you two get there?!" He soon regained his composure as you and the silvernette had a staring contest of sorts. "Oh, this is Osana Najimi."

"Yay!" they'd made a curt comment. You scowled.

"Both of us went to the same Junior high." Tadano further explained. "Hm? Osana? What's going on? And why are you wearing a skirt?"

It wasn't Osana's gender identity that bothered you; it was Osana's personality that threw you off. They'd attempted to hold a conversation with you the day before, and they were too chipper for your taste, along with their constant pestering in primary school.

"Huh? What're you talking about, Tadano?" Osana readjusted their sitting position. "I'm a girl, silly! Of course I'm wearing a skirt to school! I mean that's what gir-"

"You were a guy in junior high!" Tadano interrupted. You fully supported whatever gender discovery Osana was going through, however you still disliked them. "At least you were wearing the guy's uniform like I was, weren't you?"

Emotional manipulation; that's what Osana was about and you knew it.

You knew it because you used to be the same way.

"Huh? What're you talking about, Tadano? You mix things up like this all the time, but this is too much."

"No. No. No. No. No. No."

Osana held a mischievous smirk, their gaze pinned right onto your stiff stature. You wanted to leave.

You eventually tuned out anything and everything as people started approaching the genderless liar. You stood next to Komi as Tadano shoved through the newly acquired crowd and began whispering to the silvernette.
