The day it gets better

When I woke up this morning I could smell bacon and eggs from downstairs so I just assumed my mom was in the kitchen cooking because one my dad cannot cook he always orders food from other places and two he doesn't live with us anymore, him and my mom got divorced 2 months ago and I still have not gotten used to it, I go to his house every weekend and since he's always busy I always walk around town and try and make new friends but that has not gone to well

MOMENTS LATER:  I get up out of bed and get dressed and go downstairs, mom is definitely in the kitchen cooking and she greets me with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek " Morning sweety, how did you sleep " she says with a smile on her face like always she loves to smile " I slept okay, how about you mom " she goes back to cooking ignoring my question so I decide to pack my bags and get ready to go to my dad's house and since I don't have a car yet even though I have a license I never got a car so I Alway's have to walk unless my mom offers but I know that she won't because they have not talked since the divorce, I grab my stuff and say bye to my mom and start walking to my dad's I take the normal route that I usually do because there's always cute boy's down here none of them will want me though because well I'm not the prettiest girl that walks down here but suddenly that all changed, I ran into a boy's back and fell on the ground and he turns around and Oh my god he was so cute he helps me up and we shake hands and his hands are so freaking soft " Hi, I'm Jack and you are? " I can feel my cheeks go red so I look at my bag " I'm Hannah " he smiles and let's go of my hand " that name suits you since you're such a pretty girl " now I can definitely feel my cheeks go red " thank you " he chuckle's " it was nice meeting you Jack but my dad is waiting for me " I look up at him and grab my bags and he waves to me and I walk to my dad's house and for some reason i can not stop thinking about Jack and how cute he is.
