Part 1 - Let's Make The Best Out Of This Day

Kohane and Akito were great friends, they met at a park once. Kohane was a Sanrio lover, her room was filled with Hello Kitty plushies and it was full of pink!

Akito's was kind of the opposite- he liked the color black. So he had a black room, Kohane would sometimes give him Kuromi plushies to put in his room.

And he'd put them on a shelf, those gifts were from a dear friend after all.

But the thing is, one of them started developing feelings for the other.

They just.. couldn't admit it. Not yet.

[ PRESENT. 8AM ] Akito woke up and sat up on his bed, he rubbed his eyes. "Ugh, school.. again."

He got out of bed and got into his uniform, he grabbed his bag and left for school. He couldn't bother waiting for his sister.

While he was walking on the sidewalk, he saw his friend. Toya, he walked over to him.

"Hey man!" Akito said, Toya looked at him. "Hey, what's up?"

"Nothing much, how's life with An?" Akito asked. "Ah, it's great. She's the perfect girlfriend, i can't wait to see her again.."

Akito grinned. "Want me to set you both up?" Toya looked at Akito and blushed. "Of course not, i don't trust you."

Akito chuckled. "Of course you don't." Toya shook it off and looked away from him. "How's Kohane?"

He scratched his head. "Still fine, we're still in touch. And we go to the pancake shop every saturday, don't worry."

Toya smiled. "You like her, don't you?" Akito looked shocked and blushed a bit.

"E-Eh?! of course not! you know i'm not the guy to fall for someone that fast!"

Toya chuckled. "Yeah sure. Anyways, i'll see you later dude."

With that, Toya walked off inside the building. Akito decided to buy some food first.

There was a new shop opened near their school that sold great food, so he decided to go there.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by..

"Goodmor- EH?!" Akito was slightly shocked to see Kohane. "You- don't have classes-?" Kohane slightly blushed.

"U-Uhm.. i skipped them.." She sighed. "Eh- that's fine.. i guess." he patted her head. "Anyways, you got any pocky?"

Kohane's eyes lit up. "You're gonna do the pocky game with someone?! awesome!" Akito was confused. "H-Hah?"

Kohane explained the pocky game to him, and he was stunned. "Hane- you know i'm not capable of getting someone to play that with me."

Kohane pouted. "Fine then! play with me!" he suddenly turned bright red.

"WH-?!" He couldn't back out now. Kohane had already got the pocky.. he sighed. "Fine.."

They both sat down and Kohane took one out. He popped it into her mouth and waited for Akito to bite onto the other half.

Gosh, if one of his schoolmates walked in on this. He'd be the laughing stalk. "Let's just get this over with."

With that, he took a big bite of the pocky, which made them get closer.

Kohane was speechless. She didn't know what to do so she just bit into it again, and again Akito took a big bite. Which made them get closer.

Akito was bright red, while Kohane was bright pink. And with the last bite, their lips touched. They were kissing..

Akito couldn't process anything.. he was going crazy inside his head. When he came back to reality, he pulled away from Kohane.

"A-Ah! sorry Hane-!" Akito apologized. Kohane scratched her head. "I-It's fine! i'll get you another pack!"

She got up and went to go get another one, but Akito felt like.. she was disappointed..?

When she came back and gave it to him, she smiled. "I hope to see you again later Akito!" Akito got up and waved at her.

"Alright, see ya." And then he left. He walked inside the building holding the pocky Kohane bought him.

He went into his classroom and sat down, the teacher wasn't there yet so he put his bag on the table and placed the pocky there.

So he could take a few bites without the teacher noticing, he'd just go back to the shop when its lunch.

After class, he left and went to go see if Toya was with An. He went outside and onto the garden, and he did see Toya and An.

Except they were well.. Akito sighed and scratched his head. "Dang, if those two get caught.. they'd be dead-"

He walked out of the school and into the shop, he saw Kohane asleep on one of the tables. He couldn't help but walk over to her.

He knelt down and got a look at her face, she looked cute like this. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

He just wanted to kiss her right then and there, wait what the hell was he thinking?! he couldn't act all soft with her!

He got up and sighed. He sat on the opposite side of her and got out his phone, he started watching some videos while waiting for her to wake up.

When she woke up, she rubbed her eyes. She saw Akito.. "A-Akito??"

Akito looked at her. "Ah, you're awake." He got up and grabbed her hand. "Seems like you're tired, wanna get out of here?"

Kohane felt her heart race. "E-Eh?!" Akito looked at her. "Let's forget everything, and just focus on us."

Kohane blushed when he said that, she smiled. "Alright then!"

Akito didn't expect her to agree, she's always been this shy girl. And she wouldn't agree on doing anything bad.. but she's doing something.. for him.

He felt his cheeks burn, but they both ran out of there and Akito faced Kohane. "Hane, let's make the best out of this day."

Kohane's eyes lit up. "Y-Yes!" they both went to the arcade and played tons of games, next they went to the mall and went on a shopping spree.

And then they went to the amusement park. Kohane held Akito's hand tight. She didn't want to get lost..

They decided to go on a ferriswheel. They both sat down on opposite sides.. and waited for it to end. Kohane looked out the window.

"It's so colorful!" She smiled. Akito looked at her, he felt his cheeks burn. Why was he like this?!

"Hane." He called out to her, she looked at him. "Yes?" Akito felt like he could jump off right then and there..

"I-" Suddenly the ferriswheel stopped. "Ooh! we're at the top!" she took out her little camera and took pictures of the beatiful scenery.

Akito looked at her and her smile was beautiful, it needed to be protected.. when they went down. They decided to eat first.

They sat down on the grass and ate some pizza. Suddenly Kohane said. "The sunset looks amazing!" she got up and took pictures in it.

"Akito, join me!" Akito hesitated, but decided to do it. For her..

After that journey with Kohane, Akito smiled. "Thank you for making me smile today, Kohane." Kohane felt butterflies.

"A-Ah! no problem Akito!" Akito smiled. "Want me to drop you off?" Kohane nodded.

They both talked in the car and when they made it to Kohane's house. Kohane got out of the car..

"Thank you again for today, Akito! this is the happiest day of my life! see you!"

Kohane walked off happily, Akito felt happy.. seeing her happy made him happy.
