Welcome to Nevermore Jude!

"We're almost there now." I looked up, my mother was excited. I didn't answer her, we had just had an argument, if I were to answer her she would win, so I gave her the silent treatment. "Jude? darling?" She looked at me, we made eyecontact. "Yes mother. I know." Fool. "Now, I know you don't want this, but this is what's best for you dear." She said kindly. I didn't want to answer her, she was the reason I had to go to Nevermore. "The school for outcasts, huh?" I met her eyes. "Jude. Don't say that. You'll finally go to a school where you'll... fit in." My mother was out of her mind to think that I'd actually like it there.

The road was bumpy and I didn't exactly enjoy the ride there. We finally arrived at Nevermore. "Such a beautiful school isn't it?" My mother looked at me with exciting eyes. "Sure." I answered. She must be out of her mind if she thinks that I'm actually going to stay here. "Okay so your uniform is in your bag, and your school books are in the safe compartment in your luggage." My dad was saying as he pulled my mother over for a kiss. God this was going to be a long year.

 "Okay, thank you." I wasn't angry at my father, he was just trying to be helpful, although I didn't need his help. My mother on the other hand, she was so infuriating, acting all nice by sending me to a fancy boarding school but in reality, she couldn't handle me and my troubles anymore, and she knew that I knew it. "Goodbye then. I'll see you next march." I said, getting out of the car as quickly as I could. "Not so fast Jude." I turned to my dad. "We'll see you on the visiting day." My mother added. Right, of course I couldn't escape them that easily. I guess I had to stay here until then. "Oh, how lovely. I'll see you then." I said while my mother gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. I hurried down to the headmasters office and when I walked in, I knew that this school, certainly wasn't normal. "Welcome to Nevermore Jude!"
