A Hero Is Born Part 1

"It feels like I've waited an eternity for this moment." We both froze as we heard what sounded like a woman's voice.

"Is everything in order?"

"Just making the final adjustments, mother."

Another voice added. MK panicked as he quietly hid behind a wall, with me beside him.

"Finally, after all this time, we have the means to lift Monkie King's legendary staff." MK and I looked at what see was taking about and saw a small mountain with a gold and red staff lodged in it.

"Wow, Monkie King's staff." MK said, amazed. He then started to climb up the wall and reached his hand down to grab mine. We both climbed onto a pipe on the ceiling where there was a strange bird perked on the pipe. It looked at us, and I waved to it muttering a small hello before watching the scene under us unfold. There was a pretty woman with black hair and a boy with cool red flame hair.

"My love will finally be returned once we remove that staff. Huh?" The woman paused as she saw a robot bull climbing up the mountain and putting its hands around the staff. The robot bull tried to take the staff out, but unfortunately lost both their arms and tumbled down the hill. I winced, feeling bad for it, as the two who seemed to be running the show, stood over the poor robot bull.

"You fool! You think we didn't try that already? It's going to take more than a few robots to lift the Monkie King's staff. Only those deemed worthy can wield it." The male with red hair said. Fire then formed in his hands.

"But, I Redson!" Oh, so that's his name, kinda odd but I don't judge. A large gauntlet then covered his left hand.

"Have designed this gauntlet to bend it to my will." MK then started slipping off the pipe which made me panic, but he luckily caught himself by putting his hands on another pipe. We watched as Redson successfully lifted the staff and the robot bull clapping for him. He cheered, but then stopped noticing nothing happened.

"What, why isn't anything happening!?" he angrily yelled, turning and walking towards the woman.

"Mother, are you sure this is the right mountain?" She facepalmed, an annoyed expression on her face.

"No, maybe it was that other mountain with a magical staff sealing away my husband!" She replied, her voice filled with sarcasm. Just then the ground shook, the ground and mountain started to crack in half and a large ball of green light came from inside the mountain. It blew the robot bulls into the air and I closed my eyes and struggled to not fall off the pipe.

"Yes Father. Rise. RISE!"

I heard. I opened my eyes and stared in shock and horror as I saw the Demon Bull Kind right under me.

"Flesh, bone...I have returned to the realm of the living!"

"Oh, Demon Bull King! How I've missed you." The woman said.

"Princess Iron fan! The years have been kind. How did you free me?" So, her name was Princess Iron Fan. This family has some interesting names. The woman, now known as Princess Iron Fan, opened her mouth to talk, but her son beat her to it.

"Actually, it was I, Father. I moved the staff. I learned to harness it, to make its power mi-" He stopped as saw his father looming over him, eyes glowing green. "O-Our power" Redson finished.

"Excellent." his father said, making Redson smile. I honestly thought he looked kind of cute.

"Now, we, the Demon Bull King Family, will plunge the world into eternal darkness!" I was losing my grip on the pipe, one of my arms gave out and was dangling under me. MK looked at with a worried expression. My other arm then gave out and I loudly squeaked out in surprise.
