🌘Chapter 7🌒

Start from the beginning

Void Reaver seemed to study him for a moment, making Commander nervous. Perhaps the void titan was going to stomp him to death for daring to shoot him.

"Hm... you remind me a lot of Swordmaster. Very similar attitudes. Fine, I'll admit it. Perhaps my armor needs to be retired," Void Reaver straightened back up and walked away, his steps thundering. Even if he was smaller than his original form, he was still massive.

Commander watched him go. He wondered if that was a compliment or not. His head turned when he hears a harsh crack and a girlish scream. He stepped out of the path of Sinister as he ran away from Frost Spirit, who had his wings bound and was actually running.

That was a first, he has never seen the avian run before. He watched as Frost Spirit terrorize Sinister with the same chains he had watched Molten take a little while ago.

Another crack and scream made Commander wince. He was never this harsh with his own towers. If he had to guess, Void Reaver probably forced them.

That's when he remembered and mentally slapped himself for forgetting to ask Void Reaver about the dream. He was probably passed out and he learned he wouldn't wake up for anything.

He was just about to leave when he was tapped on his shoulder. He turned to be silently greeted by Raider. The titan was mute, that was at least what Commander assumed. The titan never spoke a word.

Even then, it was still an option. "Hey! Just the titan I wanted to see! I got a question I thought maybe one of you might know!" Commander clapped his hands together.

Raider tilted his head, curious on what Commander wanted to ask. Without skipping a beat, Commander dove right into it, "So I had this dream last night. I was in this field of tall grass and the sky was all white. I think there was the sound of windchimes, but no windchimes anywhere. Anyways there was Scout and Gravedig-"

Commander paused as he watched Raider's face drop. "Are you okay? Do you know anything?" Commander tried to ask and step forward, but Raider just stepped back. Eventually, he sprinted away.

"Well... there goes me getting any answers," Commander sighed as he sulked away. He decided that maybe sitting in his office for a bit would help. Afterall, Medic still had him on leave for "mourning". On second thought, maybe she did have a point.

Commander was staring at Scout's last drawing. He tensed his hands as tears stung at his eyes. He didn't know if that dream was real or not. Whatever it was, why did he dream it?

His eyes were heavy and his limbs were hurting. Commander was just about to fall asleep at his desk when Raider slammed opened his office door and pointed at him.

A wave of titans came plowing in, each one barking at Commander to answer their question. However, he was overwhelmed. As he sunk deep into his seat, Void Reaver spoke over them.

"Silence! We won't get any answers if you talk him to death!" he hissed. The others backed off and let Void Reaver through. Void Reaver stopped and looked down at Commander, who had no idea what was going on.

"Commander. What did you see and hear in your dream?" he asked calmly. Commander gulped and looked around. All these titans were looking at him as if ready to pounce.

"I heard wind chimes. There was tall grass. The sky was all white. Then I saw Scout. After I saw him, Gravedigger and some other titan that looked like him, but with an eyepatch, appeared too," Commander explained, listing the things off on his finger.
