Dear Diary...

A Small Message in Random Letters

"I'm going to miss that guy for a while..." Steve said and ate up some of his food. I looked at him and gave him a smile. I took a few bites and I soon finished my food.

"Hey guys don't forget about the reunion party tomorrow!" Stark told us and we all looked at one another.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot about that, thanks for reminding me Tony" Bruce said calmly and smiled at him

"No problem, Science Bro, if you need help with picking out a suit, I'd be happy to assist, you too Captain Stars and Spangles" Tony pointed his finger at Steve and smirked

"Yeah Steve, you should get a suit, I'm sure you'll be able to get some ladies at this party" I smiled at him but deep down I wish he would ask me to be his date...Wait what did I just thought?

"Yeah...sure I will..." He suddenly sighed after saying that and stood up.

"Now where are you going?" I asked him and he walked to the elevator

"To bed, it's getting late and I need to rest up for tomorrow..." He said in a not to quiet voice, because you can still hear him.

"But it's....8 PM?" Bruce brought up and I nodded at what he said and looked at the clock but Tony laughed and waved a hand at Steve.

"Let the old man sleep, we all know that our senior citizens need to sleep early" tony smirked and I gave him a glare and he just shut up.

"Go ahead Steve, Have a good night sleep..." I smiled at him and looked back at my water. I guess I will give the diary back tomorrow, after the party.

"Thanks, Night guys..." He gave a weak smile, waved us good-bye and pressed the button to the floor we shared.

"What's got him all down in the dumps?" Tony asked and Banner and I just gave a shrug.

Soon, I bid Stark and Bruce goodnight since they still had work to do at the lab before the great party. I then went down to my floor and went in my room. I told Jarvis to alarm me if anyone was coming to my room. I grabbed the diary and turned to the last entry Steve wrote before I return this to him tomorrow.

"Let's see here...Dear Diary...."

"Dear Diary... We all just came back from the fight with Ultron; we all went our separate ways. Clint went back home to his family in the countryside. Bruce crash-landed into Fiji but was found to be okay after the battle. Stark decided to calm down from technology and spend his life with Pepper.... I doubt that. And Thor went back to Asgard to take care of a few things. "

 

"Yeah, after the whole Ultron event, everyone suggested we all took a break...but me and Steve didn't..." I smiled to myself and kept reading.

"But if you are wondering what happened to me and Natasha, well, we decided to stay with the new S.H.I.E.L.D for a while and train the newbies. There was Sam, Rodney, Wanda, and Vision. Natasha stood by my side because, well, she was my partner, my permanent partner, and I would not have want it, any other way. But soon, me and Natasha would go back to the Avengers tower because in just a few months or so, Stark would hold a reunion party after our breaks."

 

"Oh yeah, I remembered that, Stark told Steve that there will be the party held here, which will be tomorrow..." I thought in my head and continued to read.

"A lot of things where going fast for me, first the whole being unfrozen, then realizing Bucky was live, and now Ultron being defeated. Then we will have another reunion party. Let's just hope this party won't end up like the last one when all hell broke loose. After watching some of my teammates grow up and mature, I started to realize that maybe being frozen for 70 years, was not so bad after all. I get to experience the future and I would not have been part of the Avengers and I would not have met the gang."

 

"No matter what, Steve will always be a big softy when it comes to us..." I told myself and continued to read.

"The only thing, I wish I could do now, is to tell Natasha how I really feel about her...."

"...Wait.... WHAT!?" I looked close at that sentence and started reading the entire message

"At first, I felt scared to tell her because I was worried that maybe, She and Clint still had a thing and then Banner started to like Natasha. Soon I found out Clint had a family of his own and that Banner found a girl in Fiji. So I felt like I had a chance, but then I start to wonder if she won't accept me... ME!? Just a boy from Brooklyn, who's just a poor old man now who knows nothing of the 20th Century. Maybe I have no hope with her. Well, I better go back to training the temporary Avengers.

I smiled at his message that he has been trying to ask me out and that he felt jealous at Banner and Barton. Then I noticed a small sketch he drew of me and I let myself blush at the gesture.  I closed the book, placed it in my undergarments drawer and went to my closet to look for what I will wear tomorrow.

"This dress would do fine..." I hanged up a black, off shoulder, cocktail dress and grabbed my red stiletto heels and placed them neatly together so I would remember. I got into bed and turned off the lights.

"Let's hope tomorrow all goes well...." Then I fell asleep

Me: Finally! An Update! I have been getting comments on continuing in the story, I am sorry that I did not.

 

Natasha: That's because college is being a bitch to her

 

Me: Yes but if it weren't for me focusing I would not have become 2nd Honor Dean's Lister!

 

Steve: Also note, that some of what she wrote are some Spoilers from our movie, Age of Ultron.

 

Me: Hope you all enjoyed it!
