" Subhi, don't try to hide it. I've been observing you for the past two days, ever since your brother started discussing Panchal. Your demeanor has been like this," Rukmini replied, her perception clear .

Subhadra embraced Rukmini gently and inquired with a hint of vulnerability,
"Bhabhi, do you think the Panchal princess is more beautiful than me, as they say?"

Rukmini chuckled softly and responded, "Oh, Subhadra, don't say that the Panchal princess's beauty is the reason for your worries."

Subhadra was about to respond when Balaram arrived and interrupted, inviting them both to join him for a meal.

Karna's chariot came to a halt in front of the grand palace, where King Draupad himself, adorned in resplendent attire, awaited him.

With a sincere smile, King Draupad extended his warm welcome, saying, "It is an honor to have you here in Panchal, a noble warrior. Your presence at my daughter's Swayamvar is a source of great pride for us ."

Continuing with admiration in his voice, Draupad added, "I have heard countless tales of your valor and seen the truth of your striking appearance, Magadharaj. It's clear that your reputation is well-deserved. You shine as brightly as the sun itself ."

Karna replied, " Thank you, Maharaj, for your kind words. I am but a humble guest at this grand occasion, and your hospitality is deeply appreciated ." His voice resonated with respect and gratitude as he acknowledged the king's warm welcome.

King Draupad turned to his son and said, " Dhrishtadyumna , please escort our esteemed guest to his chambers. Make sure he is comfortable and well-rested ."

Dhrishtadyumna, with a nod of acknowledgment, gestured for Karna to follow him. Karna nodded and followed the young prince.
