Re Zero: Starting Life at Zero with Emilia

Chapter 2

Emilia was rushing out of the alleyway, running to get her distance from the crooks

So when she paused thinking she was far enough she panted in exhaustion

Emilia: I guess we made it out in time, huh Subaru... eh?

Emilia turned around to see he was nowhere to be seen and looked terrified

Emilia: S-Subaru!

Back with Subaru

The dwarf and the giant man that could be mistaken for a giant loomed over Subaru

The smiled as they clenched their knives in their hands

Camberley: you shouldn't have done that

The tall muscular man spoke up next

And these words made Subaru's head spin

Gaston: and now you die

All at once Subaru Felt pain all over his body of knives plunging inside his body over and over again

Emilia: S-Subaru!

All Subaru could see was a blue flash as everything went black

Kadomon: hey, you good kid? You look like your gonna-

Subaru: I-I'm f-fine...

Subaru said as he clutched his sides and spots he was just stabbed in

Subaru: h-hey... is there a way I can ask something of you?

Kadomon: you have a way to pay?

Subaru: w-well no but-

Kadomon: then beat it

Subaru sighed as he went back to the place he knew most about

Subaru: Emilia...

Subaru repeated as if it was the only thing he could think about at the time

Maybe if he stopped the insignia from being stolen in the first place no one would die...

But then Elsa would kill them if she didn't obtain the object...

Subaru racked his head for answers before he stopped at the sight of Emilia and Felt tugging on the insignia

Felt: just give it!

Emilia: NO! I'm not letting you have it! I'm not letting Subaru die again!

Felt: don't know, don't care. I'm stealing this anyway. And I'm not killing anyone

Felt said as she slashed Emilia's hand and ran off with the insignia

Subaru ran to Emilia's side to help her with her hand

Subaru: Emilia, are you ok? Crap crap crap

Subaru tried to put pressure onto the wound

Emilia: Subaru, your alright... whats going on? What is happening... why?

Puck appeared but this time... didn't do anything... instead he watched on. Curiosity plagued the cat

Emilia: I should be able to heal my hand Subaru

Subaru nodded and let go of the hand as he saw Emilia heal it

Subaru: do you guys have any sort of police or justice system? We might be able to have them help with your insignia

Emilia: there should be knights that surround the area in case of such situations... we might be able to find one-

Puck: hey, I can take it from here ok. I'm powerful enough to keep Lia safe

Subaru: yeah, but you're no use if your time runs out, we'll need help

Puck: how do you-

Emilia: nows not the time Puck, we need to find a knight that can help...

Puck: hey, Lia, what's wrong? You can tell me

Emilia stared at Puck... tears started to form, but she quickly wiped them away

Emilia: I'm sorry Puck, I can't say it at the moment. But you need to listen... bad things are going to happen, we need help from a knight

As if almost on que, a man dressed in the complete opposite color scheme then Subaru with a white outfit stepped closer

Reinhardt: I heard you needed a knight?

(Ok ok, I'm trying to make this longer but for the style i usually write and a story like this, it's hard to leave it at a cliffhanger and also have it where it feels like a good chunk done...
