The Doctors Wife?

-Y/n POV-

"Ow," I rubbed my neck, a knot had formed from sleeping on the old couch in the corner of the room. I have to stop sleeping here. I told myself, secretly missing my apartment. Walking back into the lab I found the doctor to be gone. Where had he run off to? "Doctor!" No answer. My heart started to pace, "DOCTOR!"

"Geez! I'm in the Tardis! Now come on before you wake up all of London!"

I sprinted into the cupboard and through the Tardis doors. I am never tired of her familiar wheezing or dark blue color. The weird golden orbs were still the same but I couldn't help but wonder, "why don't you redecorate?"

"I beg your pardon! She is modeled off my favorite Tardis 506th model!" I put my hands up in fake surrender and apologized.

"So what do you know about this case?"

"Nothing," he said I rolled my eyes at the way he moved his spiked hair when he was excited. Running around like my madman.

"Wow so helpful you are! Well come on! You must know something." I crossed my arms.

"I know who owns that ruby. Ahha!!" He slammed the Tardis switchboard with his mallet and pulled the take-off lever. In the meantime, I made myself useful and started pressing a few buttons and toggles to help the process. Because for a man who flies this thing a lot, he's very bad at it. "Oy! What are you doing?"

"Love I think I know how to fly her by now." His eyes went wide but he didn't argue. I took control and put in his coordinates.

"Just don't touch."

"The blue switch I got it." I planted a kiss on his cheek and ushered him to sit. "So who exactly has this ruby?"

"Um, an old friend but I think I should deal with them alone." I turned to raise my eyebrows at him. "Oh! Don't do that!" His pointer finger swirled around my face.

"This is my case, plus I need to know how this person procured the ruby. I'm going to get changed, says here we're going to Gnoria 7, very hot."

When we arrived at Gnoria the Doctor started acting very strange. Almost tense, I couldn't help but wonder who this person was we were meeting. "Y/n" He called out. "We're going to be late!"

"Okay, when I pictured Gnoria I prepared for desert not dinner. Who are we meeting anyways? The bloody queen??" Oh no I had gone native, I thought I heard the Doctor laugh.
I made my way out of the closet and out back into the console room. I managed to find a simple black silk dress and some red heels. "Do I even want to know where you got these?" The Doctor turned his eyes practically bulging from his eye sockets when he saw me. Then he smiled, one that made me feel warm inside to see again.

"Remember back in New York when I took you dancing? Jack met us for drinks, I think back on that a lot." He leaned against the console, I waltzed up to him placing my hands behind his back.

"And why do you do that?" I leaned in.

That's when the Tardis thumped, announcing that we had landed within the restaurant. The Doctor coughed moving quickly to his trench coat. That damn coat.

"Allonsy y/n come on."

The restaurant was packed. But not with just people, aliens, robots, every kind of creature. It was an intergalactic high-class breeding ground. I spun around looking up at the glass dome, covered in crystal chandeliers, tile floors, and a wide array of cloth-covered tables. "Cho, can I help you tho?" The blue crab-like alien language was recognizable to me. My mind flashed back to Eurmia and Crai... that felt like so long ago.
