Tony's Workshop -

It's been a year since the avengers were at somewhat peace, which includes the guardians now apparently, if the galactic threats get out of hand Rocket just rings us up, other days it's just Groot sending space memes, which he never understands but he still replies anyway . Tony almost thought he was going to die a year ago, all thanks to our Bleeker Street Magician and his best friend, he didn't. Although he must admit it has been a wild year, a couple of years, okay alright half a decade.

A year ago the compound was taken under construction after the purple space raisin destroyed it, concerning part was there were a lot of things missing,like Clint's Ronin costume, luckily he got it back, with a 22 year old young adult along with it. If Clint wasn't already a father he just adopted another kid in his family, now he knows he has like 4-5 kids including the blue meanie who visits every month without any reason, which he kinda likes.

But things get weird when he can hear Loki and other former enhanced brainwashed assassins laughing just a floor below in the training room, he likes it tho it's his favourite sound. Ok maybe he was a little sceptical about Loki being in the compound and around the young avengers but there's a first for everything, reindeer games had nowhere to go and looked really lonely so Tony thought he might as well join the band.

"Penny for your thoughts?" he looks up at the man who just entered through the portal, oh there he is Doctor Strange aka his favourite person, shh he doesn't know that, Tony has kinda fell for the wizard/doctor when he gave up the time stone for him, Tony kept thinking about it for 5 years, before anyone says anything Pepper and Tony were not really working out, so we better thought we'd be good as friends, she has been by his side for 5 years even before that, so was Rhodey. Both of them were an irreplaceable part of his life.

But Stephen gave him a warm feeling, he knows both of them share a similar origin story, the best in their profession, one tragic accident and life turned upside down for them, others thought we both won't get along but guess what, they are co-parenting Peter now. Pepper and Rhodey keep calling them 'Peter's dads' which implies us having some sort of thing but meh! it's not that serious, right?

"Yes, it will be 10 dollars" he is pretty sure he is imagining it but Strange smiles fondly at him.

"What would a billionaire do with 10 dollars?" Strange wonders.

"And what would you do with my thoughts?" Tony asks intently.

Strange just rolls his response

"Anyway I came here because I detected a small energy disturbance just outside the compound. At first I thought it would be something dangerous, but all I found was a laptop."

"Interdimensional creatures have technology now?" Tony asks as he takes a closer look at the laptop

"It looks like a normal laptop, I'll just check it up and see what I can get out of it" Tony takes the laptop from Strange, he ignores the way their fingers oh so slightly brush.
