Leon didn't know. She wants to know. Their fucking each other while Reese is entertaining someone else else. Leon felt her heart shambles.

"Ayaw pa sabihin ni Reese sa'yo. Hindi naman daw niya sasagutin."

"Kahit na. I feel offended."

"Offended or jealous?" Francis crossed his arms and carefully looked at Leni's reaction.

"Offended lang, Francis."

"Oh siya, may trabaho pa ko. Sabihin mo kay Reese, aalis na ko."

"Uy teka. Magpaalam ka naman. Hahanapin ka nun."

"Siya ba nagpaalam na may kakausapin siya?"

"Offended nga."

"Che. Bye na."

Leon walked out the hall. She was about to enter the van when she heard a woman's shout.

"Leon! VP!"

"Uy Sen. Bakit?"

"Aalis kana agad? Akala ko magcocoffee tayo after?"

"Mukhang busy ka pa, Sen. Next time na."

"Wala akong lakad. Tara na. Please?" Risa grabbed her hand and looked at her.

"Next time, Sen." Leni declined.

Risa did overthink. Leni never declined before. Risa came back inside the hall and approached Kiko.

"Francis, kain tayo."

"Oh Risa. Saan na si Mayor Jacob?"

"Umuwi na siya. Sabi ko kasi aalis kami ni Leni. Eh kaso iniwan din ako."

"Ay nagselos nga."

"Sino?"

"Malamang, bestie mo."

"Siya? Jelous? Bakit naman?"

"Nakita niya kayo ni Mayor kanina. Mukhang nainis sa presensya eh. Di ka man lang kasi nagsabi."

"Di ko nga sasagutin yun. Ang bata, mukha akong sugar mommy."

"Gago ka. Hahahaha oo nga ang bata non. 40s ba?"

"Oo. Ang awkward nga eh. Para akong ate."

"Dun kana kasi sa 1 year older sayo."

"Yan na naman siya. Wala nga, fubu lang."

"Wala kong specific na sinabi." Reese rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, baka di ako pansinin ni Leon."

"Suyuin mo. Puntahan mo sa OVP."

"Uuwi na raw siya eh."

"Oh edi sa bahay. Dala ka cake and coffee."

"Nandon sila Aika and Tricia."

"Ano naman? Magsesex ba kayo don?"

"Sana."

"Tangina mo Reese."

"Hehe. Miss ko na agad siya."

"Yan ang fubu lang."

Francis already left and Reese is just waiting for her driver to arrive. She texted Leon.

"Otw ako dyan. Bawal humindi. See you. I miss you."

Reese requested her driver to bring the van. She instructed her staff to bring her clothes. The driver arrived and Risa changed her work clothes to comfy ones.

"I'm outside, Leon."

Leon opened the door. To her surprise, Reese is wearing a black tank top and a slacks. She looked so shocked seeing Risa in this outfit.

"Reese? Why are you here? Bakit ganyan suot mo?"

"Hi, Leon. Sabi ko diba miss kita. At wala lang, gusto ko lang mapreskohan."

"O-okay.. pasok ka."

They entered her unit and sat down the sofa.

"Anong gusto mong kainin?"

"Ikaw." Reese bluntly said.

"Mamaya na ako. Food?"

"No need. I'm here to make suyo sa aking bestie."

"Huh? Bakit?"

"Nagselos ka raw kay Mayor Jacob."

"Hindi no. Feeling mo."

"Sige sabi mo eh."

Leon was about to go to the kitchen but Reese stood up. She wrapped her hands on Leon's body, giving her a back hug. Leon froze.

"Reese? Why?"

"I said I miss you. Don't you miss me?"

"I do. Pero bakit hindi mo sinabi?"

"I have no plans on saying yes."

"Is it because of me? If yes, don't. Let yourself be free to love anyone." She broke the hug.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. We can stop doing this. I respect you and your decisions in life."

"Just tell me when... so I can manage." Leon added.

Leon smiled and proceeded to the kitchen. Reese just seated in the sofa and texted Mayor Jacob.

The vice president glanced at her best friend. She saw her smiling ear to ear. She then realized she was texting the mayor.

"I'm happy when you're happy. Even if I am not the reason anymore." She told herself and wiped the tears falling from her eyes.
