PERSONALITY : leader type—i mean he is considered the ringleader of tricky trio after all. very much the type of person to ensue chaos, be loud, and act dumb but behind it all, he's actually really smart and knows what he's doing. he definitely gives off the vibe of someone in a punk rock band. also due to having a lot of charisma similar to king, it's easy for him to be manipulative or simply get close to people

- in terms of his skin tone, i would like to make him have tanner skin due to his ethnicity although i can imagine him pulling off a lighter skin tone as well
- his taste in fashion is very particular. he loves everything about a good rich x romantic gothic aesthetic with a little mix of 60s hippie (ie. bell bottoms, corduroy, velvety material, ruffled sleeves, cravats, see-through shirts, etc. in darker shades). he also likes adding jewelry to his hair, styling his hair, and doing his nails and makeup all the time. only his close friends know what he looks like without makeup on.
- his voice is pretty deep. i imagine it as like brad pitt's voice but like a few octaves lower. plus he has an arabic accent
- got into costume designing and theatrical arts due to the fact that it was a way to show off the beauty of playing characters live and in front of an audience. this deepening interest was a sly hint of how he felt about himself—how he wanted to wield the power of being perceived as someone else in front of others and also give that privilege to others when he couldn't have it at the time during his transition (okay gay subcontext i see you)
- the best way i can explain his hairstyle is similar to timothee chalamet's hair when he played paul atreides in dune except just a tiny bit less curly and longer and bulkier in the back touching the very bottom of his neck. usually its styled in the same way as a wolf cut
- ^ to add on to his whole hair description: the one above only applies to gardener and some other AUs. his character is very stylish so i always change up the way his hair looks depending on what book he's in. sometimes his hair is long and dyed and other times it's cut short and natural. also his hair always looks different due to the fact that he styles wigs and wears them sometimes too
- honestly i could go into more detail about his past before he transitioned and what his experience was like but i would rather save it for a better time or perhaps his own book/flashback when the time is right. let's just put it this way: he was definitely raised by one parent while the other was either kicked out of his home or forced to stay quiet about any decisions made in the house. in turn, this made him a neglected child😃
- he has a secret talent (more like skill) for survival. he's just really good at things like rationing, tracking, hunting and gathering, etc. not to mention he gets his fighting skills from training with asher so bro can literally survive an apocalypse and protect himself really well
- he definitely is up to date with lunar calendars and astronomy in general. he thinks it's a really interesting and underrated science that's become way too mainstream in a bad way
- his favorite animal is cows, especially calves. don't ask why he just finds them adorable
- kinky ass sadomasochist- we don't talk about it. he's constantly on ovulation mode 24/7 and it scares corey sometimes
- biggest fan of set design and dramatic entrances
- did i mention he's a triplet? yeah genetics and cults are wild right? his two brothers are marlin and ammiel

- because there isn't really any concrete origins/childhood developed for most of the characters in my books except for those who have appeared in the empty throne for the gardener trilogy (and this is due to the fact that besides the gardener trilogy, every book i've created so far is an AU that's different every time), we don't actually know how cosmo became close with asher and corey nor how they all met. there is a very real possibility of cosmo meeting asher before corey or vice versa when he was transitioning
- he alternated between many names when transitioning but ended up choosing cosmo due to someone (whether it be a past lover or even corey) commenting on his central heterochromia, saying that his eyes looked like galaxies/the eternal cosmos
- i can imagine him and king being good friends but it didn't actually happen right away. there were times when king and cosmo were on and off, switching their opinions up as they gossiped and shit talked one another. but eventually when they actually went through a rough time and helped each other out, they figured out they weren't so bad. ever since then, they've just been talking in private and getting closer than everyone else- like i'm talking tricky trio bond type shit
- due to being connected with king and just talking to people in general, i can see cosmo getting close with king's brothers, especially with him and santos developing an interesting bond. cosmo most likely goes to santos for haircuts/hairstyling, nails, and makeup as well
- with cosmo being a costume designer and being friends with king, i think he would definitely have influence over king's fashion sense and vice versa. i can see them sharing jewelry and getting ready together. ESPECIALLY a big part of this headcanon is the fact that cosmo could've possibly designed king's mask. this headcanon though wouldn't apply to the gardener trilogy but perhaps a different book :)
- would he be the type of person to get a tattoo? absolutely. of what? i'm not entirely sure. maybe a skull with a snake in it plus something else that's an inside joke between the tricky trio. maybe even something that connects him and helix
- if he was here during modern times, he's the type of person to get absolutely hooked on random ass video essays on youtube (shoutout wendigoon) and asher would tease him for it and be like "why tf you watching this??🤨" but cue to like three videos later and asher comes in with bowls of popcorn to cuddle with cosmo and gets hooked on it too. the two of them talk about what they watched over breakfast and argue over it and corey is in the background  like 🤨🤨🤨 as he finished a whole book in the mean time
- going back to past headcanons- depending on the AU, cosmo either grew up in a lower class family or an upper class family. either way, both involve some sort of religious upbringing or cult action which heavily influenced the way cosmo sees the world and his behavior when he got into politics. he started seeing the space as a playing field and people as chess pieces. whether this mindset comes from a genuine product of his upbringing, helix having control over him, or possibly upbringing combined with something undiagnosed (either bipolar or a form of sociopathy) is up to interpretation
