The stranger paused, toying with the muzzle that covered his mouth, trying to do some calculations in his head, "Three days. 'sposed to go through "trainin'" tomorrow. If I end up a lost cause I'll prolly end up gettin' split." Though his slang was a little weird, Eijrio understood him completely. He'd never had to deal with it before but he knew that hybrids that were considered threats to the general public were put through unbelievable torture meant to make them docile and tame so that they could be sold off to a willing owner.

"What's your name? I'm Eijiro... Eijiro Kirishima."

Perking up at the introduction, the silver-haired dog grinned, revealing a set of jagged sharp teeth, "Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, or just Tetsutetsu, y'know? Nice to meet you, kid." A small smile slowly crept up onto Eijiro's face, chuckling at the pet name. Before he knew it, the both of them had begun talking and Eijrio's heart rate began to slow from its rapid pace. He hadn't even realized how fast it had been going until he began to calm down.

...

You were starting to get pissed off with how negligent the officers were with their job. It was bad enough that they had put your poor sharky boy through hell, but now they were sending you around on a wild goose chase, making you walk through room after room, pointing you in the direction of any similar-looking redheads that barely even looked like Eijiro. It was really starting to piss you off.

However, by the grace of whoever was watching you, you had entered another portion of the shelter and spotted a familiar head of hair that had you sprinting without a second thought.

"Hey! Wait! You shouldn't be running!" The officer shouted from behind you, groaning when he realized that you weren't listening to him.

You slid to a stop in front of the plexiglass and stared into it, locking eyes with Eijiro who looked pitiful in the muzzle he was forced to wear. Neither of you said a thing as you tried to register his expressions, wanting to see what he was feeling from the look on his face. You failed to notice the other male who was in the cage, watching you with curiosity.

You suddenly had a new goal and your aura completely changed as you turned to calmly stare at the slowly approaching officer. "Open this," you demanded, staring him in the eye with a new kind of animosity. It was almost like the devil himself was standing behind you.

"I c-can't do that. We have regulations-" "You think I give a fuck about your regulations? You've got my boyfriend locked up in a fucking CAGE. Should I just sue you and everyone else you work for? I bet your superiors wouldn't like that, would they?" Your voice was eerily calm as you spoke, standing up straight with a hand on your hip, waiting for the officer's next move. He paused for a second and then glared back at you before mumbling and moving towards the keypad that kept the cage closed, "If those things try to attack I am going to kill them on sight and you might just end up as collateral."

Though you hadn't heard him, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu did, eliciting a chorus of growls from the both of them from within the plexiglass.

It seemed like the officer was taking his sweet time, punching in whatever code there was as well as letting his retinas get scanned. Why was such high-tech needed to keep these people imprisoned?

When the door finally slid open, you rushed into it and threw yourself onto Eijiro, wrapping your arms around his waist to hold him tightly. Eijiro smiled at the embrace and wrapped his arms around you, nuzzling against you as he began to scent you by rubbing his chin onto the top of your head, instantly feeling a wave of relief.

After your little ruining, you pulled away to look up at him, pissed off at the sight of the muzzle. You turned to look at the officer again, squinting at him, "Take this shit off of him. Or tell me how to do it."
