This whole other life.

I always forget parts of it, like names and what they look like, sound like.

But I just get a feeling.

I know him.

Who is he?

And why can't I see him?

Why can't I remember who he is?

MJ knows about him.

I told her after it happened.

Not by choice she said she heard me crying in my sleep begging someone not to go.

I didn't say a name though which is weird.

The person is nameless.

I glance at my window as if expecting someone there, but who?

Who could I be expecting?

There is a knock on my door making me snap out from my thoughts.

I sigh,  as I tie my hair back into a high ponytail, before sliding out of bed.

I open the door to see MJ there with a bright smile.

"Hey"

I smile"

"Hi!"

I step aside letting her in.

MJ looks around my messy room.

Boxes are sitting out as I am packing for MIT.

I got in!

I am so happy.

I got the acceptance letter after I got discharged from the hospital.

It was sitting on my desk.

My dad was so proud of me.

Mom, well.... I hope she is.

I know it not where  she wanted me to go, but part of me feels like she is proud too.

MJ and I are roommates.

Although we're studying different subjects, we both knew living together was a smart choice.

"Came to check on how the packing was going. I see it's going well"

"Well, I've been at it for weeks. I just feel like I am missing something"

Mj nods as the air goes quiet.

"Still got those dreams?"

"Yeah. you?"

Did I forget to mention MJ has them too.

Well hers is more on a nerdy guy, at least that is what she describes him as.

Sounds like another version of Ned.

Maybe Ned and him were besties in a past life.

I smile at the thought of Ned having a guy best friend.

He always complains about being the only guy, MJ and I always ganging up on him.

Not that it is either of our faults.

"Whats this?"

I turn to MJ who is picking up a camera by my window.

I scrunch my eyebrows as I walk over to it.

How that get there?

"I swear that was by my desk, I never moved it unless...."

"Unless what?"
