🌘Chapter 4🌒

Start from the beginning

Frost Spirit glided back down, breathing heavily. That took a lot out of him. Engineer clicked her tongue and wrote something on her clipboard.

"You aren't a bad flier, don't get me wrong! However, ever consider all that dead wait on you?" Engineer brought up. Frost Spirit stopped panting and looked down at his coat. He never really though about it before.

"I thought so. Let's do the test again but ditch the coat," Engineer ordered. Frost Spirit was not a fan of that idea. He hugged at his coat and kept his hood on top of his head. The last thing anyone needed to see what how ugly he was underneath, which he thought he was.

Engineer raised an eyebrow, "Mr. Spirit. I don't like playing games when doing work. Take the coat off." Frost Spirit still refused. "Want me to take your visiting rights to the medical ward away?" Engineer threatened.

Looks like Frost Spirit had no choice. Reluctantly, he slid the hood off then the coat. The only wintery thing about him now were the furred boots. After folding his coat and placing it down, he looked down at the staring towers.

"W-What? What is it?" Frost Spirit was tempted to grab his coat again. "It's nothing! Just, didn't expect you to have hair," Engineer made herself stop staring and looked back down, her cheeks warm.

Frost Spirit had a nice set of black fluff on his head. It was slicked back and it seemed to wave like beautiful long meadow grass. He looked almost like a model of some sorts.

"Lose the boots too," Engineer added. "Wha- why!? What's wrong with them?" Frost Spirit asked, surprised. "They are so like, twenty years ago!" Engineer sneered.

That was a stupid reason. When he kicked his boots off, Engineer squealed. Frost Spirit had some bird feet. She could possibly take advantage of this anatomy. Frost Spirit would be the world's most coolest living jet.

"Please don't tell me to remove my pants next.." Frost Spirit quietly begged. Engineer went red in the face when a jet pilot snickered behind her. "That isn't nessary! Keep them on!" she waved her hand at him.

"Now, try to catch this jet," Engineer gave the thumbs up and the next jet was started up. Just as quickly as the last one, it took off speeding down the runway. Frost Spirit almost missed it lifting off the ground before he went after it.

The speed at which Frost Spirit took off had Engineer's hair blowing back. The jet sped into the air, almost going out of reach. However, Frost Spirit had gotten closer then he did before.

Even then, the jet proved better then him as it sped away, leaving Frost Spirit in the dust. He did attempt to go after it, but it was futile. Once again, he was left exhausted as he glided back down. At least the wind up above felt nice.

When he touched back down, Engineer was shaking her head. Frost Spirit didn't understand, he did better that time. "Disappointing results, real disappointing! The way you take off is messy, the beat of your wings are uneven. I always thought you were an expert flyer, but I guess we gotta teach you a thing or two," Engineer wrote down as she spoke.

Frost Spirit felt his eye twitch. Grabbing his boots and jacket, he shrunk down and stomped away, the claws of his feet scratching against the dirt below. "Hey! We aren't done! We're just getting started! Bird!" Engineer called, but was ignored.

The ice titan wasn't going to stand for insult. He cursed himself at being the one to suggest they work with the towers. "I really am a bird brain.." Frost Spirit grumbled.

There wasn't much in the camp for him to go to. He didn't even have his own room. There was one place though, that being the medical ward where Sinister was. As he made his way towards the building, he kept on getting stares. That's when he quickly realized he never put his coat and boots back on.
