Start from the beginning

MODC could have been a story of young loves that is moving forward in life, together. Against the chaotic fabric of life, MODC could have been a comfort queer love story that conquer the shitty cards of life.

That's why I wrote the alternative ending universe.

To give closure in my mind.

To see Shigu and Haoting having a bright future together.

For the Xiang family to see their cheerful son continues being cheerful instead of a wrecking mess after Shigu's death.

For Zhigang to be able to return home and be accepted. For Zhigang not to mourn the loss of a brother he cared for.

For Sunbo to grow as a man with purpose.

For us the viewers that spent months invested in the story. And almost 3 years still traumatized by the ending.

I raised my glasses to our tears. May this universe brings you comfort.
