Chapter 40: A-Yuan

"Yes!" Zhan spats unknowingly. But cleared his throat, composing himself.

"YIBO..." Ziyi roared sending chills down Yibo's spine.

"What?" Yibo asked innocently.

Yubin dragged her away before she do something embarrassing again. Yibo blushed as everyone wished him with a round of applause. He stole a glance at Zhan with his red cheeks, only to find Zhan was already staring at him intensely with a stupid grin on his face.

"I'll kill you if you don't marry me before Yibo gets married." Ziyi screamed at Yubin, letting her be dragged away by her boyfriend .

A week after the wedding, Linwen and Yanli were ready to leave the country. Now as her family is complete Yanli doesn't have to come to China time to time. So this time she arranged to take his son with them. Zhan and Yibo was the ones who mostly impacted on this decision.

Yibo felt like his heart will burst out anytime soon without their little one. He sobbed the whole week at night hiding his face in Zhan's chest. If he cried in front of Yanli she will feel bad. So Yibo hide his internal turmoil in front of others. Yibo knew more than him, Zhan was the one who is suffering most. Even though he didn't cry and tried to act strong, Yibo could identify his all emotions through his red, puffy eyes. Everyone at home was sad. Even Mrs.Xiao cried. But Yuan was Yanli's only son and now the little one have a father. So now it's time to improve their family bond.

Throughout the whole week Yibo and Zhan stayed with Yuan. They even went to sleep keeping their little pie in the middle of their bed, hugging him tightly. Both of them could not imagine how to live without their cute pie. Yanli didn't say anything as she know how difficult it was for Yibo and Zhan and let them do as their wish. She was lost with his words to say how grateful she was towards them as they took care of her son giving all the love and affection.

The day arrived. Everyone was on the way to the airport. Yibo was hugging baby in his arms crying nonstop. Zhan's eyes were swollen and red, seems like he was holding back. Mrs.Xiao was sobbing silently. Cheng was also with tears. Because of everyone was crying, the toddler looked at everyone curiously with his doe eyes as if he feels something was wrong.

Their departure time arrived. Yibo felt like suffocate when Yanli took Yuan from his arms. As if something was felt, the little one started to let out a high pitched, loud cry extending his small hands to Yibo. Everyone's eyes filled with tears.

"Pah..pa.." The toddler let out a wail trying to jump towards Yibo and Zhan. Everyone froze on the spot. It was Yuan's first word he spoke. Usually the babies start using single words of their familiar people.

Yibo's heart clenched in pain when he heard their little pie calling him "papa" for the first time. Zhan was always tried to teach Yuan few words like "mama" "papa" as they were excited thinking what would be his first word. But toddler wasn't able to speak them up until now.

So many emotions overtook Yibo suddenly. He felt like he couldn't breath anymore. His head started to spin, his vision turned black before fainted on Zhan's arms. He could only hear Yuan's high-pitched cry before lost his consciousness.

Yibo opened his eyes with a heavy headache due to his nonstop crying. He found himself lying in the van. When his blurry vision turned normal the first thing he saw was Zhan holding Yuan in his arms.

Yibo immediately snatched their little pie from Zhan's arms and kissed his whole face like a mad puppy.

"What happened? Where is Jie and uncle?" Yibo asked.

"They left." Zhan smiled softly.

"What about Yuan?" Yibo asked with wide eyes.

"She said she can't take away someone else's child." Zhan uttered placing a kiss on Yibo's and Yuan's head.

Tears rolled down Yibo's eyes but this time it was happy tears. Yes! Now his life was complete. Zhan and Yuan was his world. Yibo took a deep breath and hugged the little one in his arms before leaning to Zhan's shoulder.
