"I want wings too, Oof :(" Says Arkeon while getting pulled aggressively.

"Alright Snibs, that's about enough, stop pulling Arkeon." Oof says, avoiding Snib's gaze.

"I can try, but I think the cities have already mostly been looted." Snibs is quick to interrupt.

"Don't you have, like, 11, dude?" Oof looks over. He thinks of responding but quickly stops. I want to get out of here already.

"I'll go get you wings, Arkeon." Oof flies off before Arkeon can thank him. He speeds through the end portal to the end cities. "Damnit," he says under his breath. He can't stop thinking about Snibilac. This is the third time this week.

He searches for a non-looted city, flying off in a random direction, going as far as he can when he sees one with all its lights present. "That one'll work."

Oof hates flying through the end because of past trauma, but he powers through it. He'd do anything for Arkeon.

He makes it to the sky boat, and as soon as he can get a glimpse, he screams "OOOH YEAHHH LETS GO MAN!!" He does a fist bump in the air, but quickly composes himself again after realizing he's acting like a child.

Oof runs to the upper caverns of the boat and steals the wings. He checks his compass and is surprised to see that he's 25000 blocks away from the portal- his only way home.

I mean, I guess I might as well keep searching. Everything he finds will be just as useful now as it will be later.

After he finds like half a dozen more sets of wings, he gets a feeling that he's being watched. He doesn't really care enough to do anything about it, though.

As Oof continues to loot end cities, he senses a pair of eyes watching his every move. He can feel where they're coming from, but can't make out anything in the direction he's feeling watched from. He thinks nothing of it, assuming it's an enderman or some other end creature. Oof shrugs, continuing his search for the hidden gems among the vast expanse of islands.

He finds fifteen pairs of wings in total. He's looting the chests next to the last holder of the wings when he hears footsteps behind him. He stops.

And slowly looks back.
