Princess Thyra, Duchess of Värmland (born Thyra Philippa Elizabeth Phillips; 10 June 1984) is a member of the Swedish royal family and the younger daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and Captain Mark Phillips. She is a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and a niece of King Charles III, and is currently 26th in the line of succession to the British throne. Prior to her marriage, Thyra pursued a successful career as a hedge fund manager and was actively involved in philanthropic initiatives, particularly in the areas of financial literacy and women's economic empowerment. In 2009, she married Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, becoming Princess Thyra, Duchess of Värmland. The couple have four children: Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, Prince Julian, and Princess Elizabeth, who are fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth in the line of succession to the Swedish throne, respectively.
