Chapter 20

"Aww, Matty you were cool!" Josh cheered. He rolled his eyes and laughed. 

Vic skipped his way over, leaving Jack, Alex, and Kellin to tend to the fire. "Laureeeeeeeeeeeey? Can we go swimminggggg?" he whined. 

I laughed. "Sure." I shrugged. He cheered. 

Everyone ran up to the cabin to get changed in the swim suits we ALL had here for some reason.

"Geez Lauren. Got enough tattoos?" Vic laughed. I smiled. 

"Not compared to your brother." I said. He rolled his eyes. 

We dropped our towels by the fire, close enough we could see them and they stayed warm, but far enough away they wouldn't be covered in burn holes. 

"Awwwww Nicoleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, why won't you come swimming with us? Matty is." I said, smiling. 

She rolled her eyes. "Nah, I think I'll stay here with Alex and Kellin while you go play with your boys." she said.

"You sound like you're talking to a child." I muttered. 

"I am, your in your 20s. I'm in my 40s. You're considered a child compared to me." she chuckled. 

"Well that means a child got married before you. HA. I win." I said. She raised an eyebrow. 

"Yeah but look at your husband." she said.

I turned around and Josh was talking to the guys, smiling, random letting his limbs go loose, and shaking his chest while leaning to each side. Basically a bad version of a dance we had in like, 2013.

"Okay, ignoring that. I still got married to the man -" I started, but Kellin, Nicole and Alex gave me a look. "The man-child I love." 

"Whatever Lauren..." ALex shrugged. 

I slapped him on the upside of the head. "Shut up, he ain't that bad. He's kinda sweet sometimes." I said. 

We looked back at them, and watched as the guys walked towards the water and Josh tripped on his OWN feet and fall. I laughed and followed them.

Once the water reached my waist, I got an idea. I laughed and jumped on Matt's back, nearly knocking him down in the process. 

"What are you doing?" he asked, shifting me on his back so I wouldn't make us both fall. 

"We were talking about you carrying me out when I was younger because I couldn't swim, so I'm reliving memories." I laughed. 

We got out a little deeper, and Matt grinned. "Okay..." he said in a sing-song voice. 

He grabbed my arms that I had put around his neck, and jumped under the water. When we both popped back up, I untangled my arms from him and slapped him. 

"YOU JACKASS." I exclaimed. 

Vic laughed and pulled me towards him, probably for I wouldn't murder Matt. Josh came over and laced his arm around me. 

"Come over and swim with me Laureeeyyyyy." he murmured in my ear. 

I looked at him, he pecked my cheek and grinned. He lead the way and we walked out so far we were forced to swim. 

Eventually Jack, Vic and I got what my mom called "Water-Logged" and we were freezing. We all swam in and went up to change. Marianas stayed down at the beach.

Jack smiled when he saw me. "Nice outfit there Lauren." he chuckled. 

I smiled. "Glamour Kills is a pretty awesome clothing line Jack. Except for one part is dedicated to a certain douche named Jack Barakat." I said. He laughed and stuck his tongue out. 

"Sexy name. I bet he's the best looking dude on earth." he said. I laughed. 

We went back down to the fire. There was five logs, and we were all sitting in pair. Vic sat back down next to Kellin, Jack sat by Alex, and I sat by Josh. I hoped he'd put his arm around me, or SOMETHING, because I was freezing. 

I shivered, and he looked at me. "You okay?" he asked. I smiled. 

"I'm just cold." I said. 

He smiled at me, and put his arms around me. I couldn't stop shivering. Josh pulled me onto his lap, and I cuddled into him. 

One thing that never changed about Josh, was that he was ALWAYS warm. I saw that Jack had his head on Alex's shoulder. I smiled. Those two were always so close. 

Josh slipped his warm hand in my shirt and rubbed my back. He was slowly moving his hand up and down on my legs to warm them up too. 

I smiled and pecked his cheek. "I love you." I whispered. He smiled and kissed my forehead. 

"Can we put the tree on it now?" Jack whined. "The people across the lake are beating us!"

I looked across the water, and I could see the flames of the fire across the beach were higher than ours. 

I nodded. "Knock yourself out." I encouraged. The tree would heat things up pretty fast, I hoped. 

Jack smiled bigger than the Cheshire Cat and jumped up from neck to Alex. Alex smiled and got up too. When the flames died down until they were barely flickering, the boys jabbed the tree in the ground like it was growing out of the ground.

Jack took a stick and pushed the coals up around it, and before we knew  it, the flames shot up at least 10 feet in the air. A blast of warm air hit my face, and I smiled.

Okay, before I can write the next part for the chapter, I need to know, do you guys ship Jalex and do you guys ship Kellic? I need to know. Anyways, I hope you liked the chapter! 

P.S. Did you guys see the Harlem Shake with Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce the Veil, All Time Low, and everyone else. I DIED. KELLIN AND THE NOD. I bet he was thinking "Copeland is going to see this when she's older. Copeland is going to see it." I BET. BUT KELLIN AND THE NOD AND VIC MAKING OUT WITH HIMSELF AND JACK IN THE BACKGROUND HAVING SPASMS AND HOLY FUCK I DIED.
