the triplets and i agreed to meet at the train station, well nick, chris and i. Matt hasnt been talking to me much since the wedding, im blaming my dad for that, he made matt so uncomfortable. I am trying to just give matt time but its hard when i have a massive crush on him. When i get to the train station, i see nick, matt and chris.
"hey guys" i say walking over to them.
"hii!!" nick says as he hugs me
"hello" chris says as i hug him
i turn to matt "um, hi matt"
matt ignores me and sits down, i sigh and look away, sitting down next to nick. I then realize that nick probably told matt and matt doesnt like me back and he feels weird about it. when the train gets there i just stand up and sit down in my normal seat, instead of matt sitting next to me, nick does.
"did you tell him?" i whisper in nicks ear
"no i didnt, i dont know why hes acting like this. if i knew id tell you" nick says
"i assume you told chris" i whisper back
"well...yeah i did. im sorry" nick whispers
"and did chris tell matt?" i ask
"no he didnt" nick says
i get my book and read in silence, not wanting to talk to anyone else. the few times nick tried to talk to me i ignored him. Nick stopped trying after he got the hint. After him, chris tried, i didnt talk to him either. After the train stopped, i got my backpack and suit case and just stormed off, not even saying bye. When i get to my moms house i see a note saying "out with charlie, hannah is with granny. ill be back soon - love mom". I go to my room and start unpacking, i get a bunch of notifications on my phone. the only thing i hear is *ding*. of course its nick when i check it, i didnt answer. I shower and i change into my hoodie and flannel pants. I hear the door ring and i see my grandma with my baby sister. Ï open the door.
"uhm, hi granny" i say hugging her
"hi honey, hannah wont stop crying and i cant go to bed. Do you mind taking care of her?" my grandma says in a raspy voice
"uhm, yeah i dont mind." i say grabbing my sister and carrying her
my grandma leaves and i put my sister to bed, i go to my room and go to bed, well, i at least try. I cant sleep, at all. I go out on a late night walk, trying to clear my head. As im walking, i see a van driving to my house. It looks like the triplets van, i see chris driving it.
"holy shit" i mumble, running back to my house
i sneak in from the back door without chris seeing me, he knocks on the door and i open it,
"what do you want" i ask in a stern voice
"matt likes you too, he thinks you dont like him so thats why hes upset so just please talk to him because hes driving me crazy" chris rambles
"i just have one question, how are you driving?" i ask chuckling
"i got a permit, okay i have to go now bye." chris says running back to the van.
i close the door thinking, matt likes me?. I repeat those words in my head until i find myself smiling. I go to bed and decide that tomorrow ill go to their house and just tell him

~the next day~
I am getting ready to go to the triplets house, i decide to use my black cargo pants with my beige crop top and my converse. I put on my navy blue jacket. I leave a note on the counter and i run to the triplets house, when i get there i knock on the door a lot until chris opens it.
"what are you doing h-" i cut him off
"wheres matt" i ask impatiently
"in his room, but you shouldnt go in th-" i cut chris off again
"okay thank you" i say running to matts room
i get there and open the door
"matt i have to tell you somethi-" i dont finish what i was saying
i see matt with some other girl, my heart drops.
"uhm, im sorry." i say closing the door and going back to the living room
"ri dont be upset" chris says
"i almost embarrassed myself you know? why would you tell me that matt likes me when he has a fucking girlfriend?" i ramble
"would you just listen to me please?" chris asks me strictly
"fine, 2 minutes" i say crossing my arms
"i dont know why matt is dating her, okay? i really dont. All i know is that matt has liked you for a long ass time. i would never say something like that to get your hopes up or to embarrass you."chris says
"yeah...fine..im going home" i say walking down to the door and leaving
i was so heartbroken, why would matt date her if he likes me?. Maybe im just overthinking it, i need to get over him. I get home and go to my room and just stay there all day.

matts POV:
i go to the living room where nick and chris are sitting down.
"why the fuck did riley come into my room?!" i yell at both of them who look up from their phones
"she had to tell you something" chris says shrugging
"my fucking girlfriend is mad at me now" i yell at them but not loud enough so she can hear
"yeah the girl you have no fucking feelings for" nick says looking at his phone
"if you would've told riley she wouldnt have burst into your room" chris says
"both of you shut up! im moving on from riley and you two need to accept it, i dont care if you like grace or not. now leave me the fuck alone" i say starting to walk away
"your actions are gonna bite you in the fucking ass" i hear nick say
"wha-" i get cut off by chris
"have you not been getting the fucking hints matt?! riley likes you! like really likes you!. Do you know how much it broke her that you're not talking to her and that you have a fucking girlfriend?!. she came over to tell you she likes you herself but then she saw you with that blondie and she left. youre on the right fucking track matt" chris says walking into his room and slamming the door
i stand there speechless until i hear grace call met
"matt? come here" i hear her say
"i-im coming" i stutter and walk to my room
riley likes me back?
