Lloyura {Part 1}

(Siury's Pov)

You must stay tall and strong for your kingdom. That's what my father would say whenever he is in a difficult situation. It's kind of like motivation to keep going, I too say it more times than my father.

I have been saying it for hours now. The moment Lloyd and I entered the Crystal cave up until now, I was repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again. I Stopped thinking when we encountered a demon that seemed to be the guardian of the cave that we entered.

'Siury stay back!' Lloyd shielded his hands in front of me.

'Lloyd, it's alright.' I said. 'I can stop this demon from attacking us.' I shoved his arm away, so that there was nothing blocking my way.

'No! It's too dangerous.'

'For you, that is!' I shouted.' It's not safe for you, not me. I am a royal blood Oni and you are a human. If I get wounded I can just heal back. As for you it's different.'

'We are the same Siury. You take time to heal back just like me.' He argued.

'No lloyd. you don't have Seishin power but I do. I can stop this demon using my powers. This demon is different compared to the previous demons that you have encountered. This type of demon can destroy your soul gem completely and then you will die immediately.' I explained in a rush.

'What do you mean? I am Lloyd Seishin reincarnation. I have his power.'

'No Lloydy...that's no-' I stopped arguing with him once I heard three demons roar. 'There seems to be more than one demon here, which is what makes everything even more difficult.' I whispered quietly to myself.

'Did you hear that?' Lloyd asked.

'I sure did.' I replied. 'Lloyd please hide. I know what I am doing.'

'Siury please don't push me away from you. We are going to fight together.'

'But-' Rumbling noises came from above us. Turns out that those demons are right above us and they heard our loud argument.

Those demons are referred to as Crystal demons. By the name they are only found in crystal caves and they take a great liking to spirits soul gems. They are nothing like Onis. Onis are smaller in size, Crystal demons are massive. Crystal demons are so tall and large in size that their heavy footsteps can corrupt any cave. Onis are also far more intelligent than those demons.

'Lloyd, we must run at once.' I advised him.

'Okay!' He agreed. 'Let's go that way.'

We ran for endless hours. The cave was like an endless scroll. My feet and his acked but none of us said a word. We ran so far away from our original point but we can still clearly hear the demons roar and the cave won't stop shaking. The more we ran the more the cave collapsed. As each second passed more worse damages were caused.

The cave was so demolished that it was difficult for us to run. Dust started sprinkling on us and so were small pebbles. I was scared.... really scared. I am worried if this will be the end of us. He too was scared...no, terrified. Whichever side I would turn or lift my head, all I could see were walls demolishing and opening up to different paths. Also some pathways are getting blocked by the fallen rocks and stones.

It took us a while to find a deadend but once we did, we decided to take a very short break just so that we could catch our breaths. It wasn't for long though because one of the walls that was in front of us was demolished, only to find the head Crystal demon right in front of us. (He is the only demon with coloured horns that's why he is the head)

'Lloyd!' I tried warning him but he wouldn't listen. His full concentration is on that demon. I was worried about what he might do because after he learned more about grand father's power, he started acting too reckless.
