"Yes!" I chirped as we were dancing.
"What?" Josh asked. I pointed to Nicole and Matt at the second 'One for the money, two for show, three to get ready and four to go' part.
"He proposed!" I cheered quietly. Josh grinned.
"Finally! I mean, the dude is two years younger than me, he needed to do it sometime!" Josh said.
I laughed. We kept dancing, despite the fact I tripped at one point and fell. Josh laughed and picked me back up.
Honestly, I am seriously surprised Icky has stayed on my shoulder this long. Then I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. Oh, he was digging his claws into my skin.
Or maybe he just started. I dunno. I'M TIRED. Don't blame me. Around the end, I spotted a face, that made me so fucking happy I thought I might scream.
As the songs changed, and I ran over. "DAD!" I exclaimed, tackling him with a hug.
Then I saw her getting out of the car. "Sorry we're so late sweetheart, but you could have actually told me what time I should come, instead of just saying 'around 6'." he said.
I smiled. "Well, you're here now!" I chirped.
Mom came over. "Mom?" I said.
"Hi honey." she said. "Are we too late to see the I do's?" she asked. All Time Low, For Baltimore was playing.
Alex and the guys cheered, I twisted around and pounded my fist in the air. I did a satisfying WOO!!! Before turning back to my parents.
"Lauren Ramsay. 'Bout fifteen minutes ago. But why are you here? I thought you hated me and Josh." I said.
She smiled. "Shai got married last year. We only figured out a few days ago. You actually told us about your wedding, and I realized that you were right. I am to harsh on you. I guess it's because you're the youngest, and I want you to turn out great. And seeing you now, I realize you didn't need my help. Josh is a great boy." she said.
I tried to keep a straight face, but I couldn't help but smile. "Glad you finally came to your sense, after twenty odd years." I said.
She smiled, and we hugged. "Oh, and great music choice Lauren." she laughed.
I smiled, and Josh came over. "Shut up and kiss me now..." he sang along. I laughed.
I looked at my parents, and they motioned to go do whatever.
"It IS your wedding." my mom said. I smiled.
I went and danced with Josh, then went over to bug Alex, Jack, Rian and Zach.
"Don't you just LOVEEEEEEEE my music taste?" I said. They smiled.
"You have great tastes, my friend." Alex said. Jack looked bored.
"Oh, and there's a secret beer and alcohol stash in the shed behind the cabin I had just for you guys, and Vic and Kellin and them." I said.
All of their face lit up. "WE LOVE YOU!" they all cheered, before going to the shed. Most likely to get drunk and puke in the woods.
The next song came on. It was Josh's choice. I turned around and smiled. Josh and dancing with Bennie.
"Looks like you got some competition!" Chris laughed.
I rolled my eyes. Josh named Tux and Bennie after songs, he never really told me how he named Anemonie, so he said I got to choose whatever I liked for music, as long as we played Tuxedo Junction, and Bennie and the Jets.
