ANNIVERSARY SPEECH

Good evening, my beloved readers. With my story "Study First," I am honored with my first year as an author on Watty.

I'd like to talk about my experiences as a writer. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the conclusion when I first started writing. While writing, I was content and had fun. When I first began writing, I had a ton of spare time. It's odd, but practically all of the grammar in my story—or at least some of it—was inaccurate. I always convince myself, "It'll be alright," though. You've never written a story before. Go concentrate on your writing, and when the story is finally finished, edit.

I read Study First as it was about to come to an end out of curiosity, but as I did, I noticed that there was something missing, something that needed to be there and should have been there, something that can maintain readers' attention, and that something I am referring to is a, "Thrill." I want my readers to consider what should they expect yet shouldn't expect, and I should include an interesting plot each chapter. I put my story my best effort. I came to this realization thanks to my favorite author, who I won't name here but who is well-known to everyone and who, if they follow me on social media, would also be well-known to everyone. That'd be fine, she remarked, "though that's my best, my limitations, and that's me, and I should be better to my next story."

I set a thousand words word count as my initial word limitation. After then, I resolved to keep going and add a thousand and five hundred words, and so on, until I had at least two thousand words. That's one of the reasons I rewrote my story—it seemed odd for the second chapter to be more than a thousand words while the first chapter was barely a thousand. While concentrating on the chapter's plot, I should remember my boundaries.

I just wanted to convey my apologies if my failure as an author was due to my constant delay in updating. I should not have apologized, but I felt ashamed because I knew someone was waiting for my updates. a person who is excited to read my updates.

I'm not sure whether I still have a reader, but if not, it's okay because it was my mistake. Even if only one person read my story, I'll keep writing.

I'm appreciative that my story received more than 15,900+ readings, together with a votes total of 644 votes. Thank God for helping me must go on this kind of journey and for guiding me through it. I appreciate your help and your understanding. I sincerely appreciate your support!

Again, this is your author, _Johncis, I am sixteen years old and turning seventeen this month. My pleasant leisure time passion is reading and writing. I'm doing my best to write a well-written story. I am too young for this and hardly manage to write every single day because I am just a student and needed to focus on my studies. Please, bear with me. Again, I truly appreciated your supports and I apologize for a long wait of updates.

Continue to dedicate yourself including all aspects of your life. even after reaching at your final destination, keep moving forward. 🤍🤍
