THE NEXT MORNING HAD COME. Tate, Owen, Claire, Zach and Gray had all successfully made it to the loading dock, where it was safe and away from dinosaurs. Tatum couldn't ignore the guilt she felt
though — leaving these dinosaurs all alone. But she knew they could survive on their own. It was just hard to accept, especially since this had been her life for many years now.

Tate sat alone in the loading dock, leaning against a bare wall as she soaked in her thoughts. She couldn't deny that she was going to miss Zach — knowing he'd be leaving so soon. That was why she had huddled away from everyone else she knew. She needed time to herself, time to get used to the fact she'd be without a home and anyone she knows for a while. Sure, she could go live with her parents, but she didn't want to burden them with that.

A yawn escaped her mouth as she looked towards the crowd of people in front of her, eyeing them for any sort of sight of Zach. A frown caressed her lips as she couldn't find him, wondering if he left without saying goodbye. But before she let herself stand up to search for him, he had already found her. Zach gave her a smile as he strutted over, being careful with the amount of people around him.

In his hands held two coffee mugs, holding some hot tea after their voices had gone out. Swiftly, Zach met Tate where she leant against the wall, holding out the cup for her. "Tea?"

"Please." She muttered, taking the cup from him as he smiled. Gently, he sat down next to her, allowing her head to rest against his shoulder. "Thank you."

"No problem." He shook his head. "And if anything, I should be thanking you."

"Why me?"

Zach let out a laugh, surprised at this question. "Tate, you saved my life. You also saved my brothers. Without you, we'd probably be dead.

Tate frowned. "Don't say that."

"It's the truth! Tate, you saved our asses out there." Zach giggled, looking down at her once she lifted her head to look at him. "We couldn't have made it out of there without you, Tate."

A faint smile came onto her lips, as he did the same. "You give me too much credit."

"And you don't give yourself enough."

Sighing, she sipped her tea. "You know," She paused, looking over to him. "I'm gonna miss you, Mitchell."

"Yeah?"

"Mhm." She hummed, her grin spreading across her face. "When will your parents be here?" Her voice came out as a whisper, as Zach huffed.

"They're already here." He admitted, a frown dropping onto face.

"Oh."

A moment of silence graced them, before Zach spoke back up. "Tate," He hushed her name, causing her to glaze up to him. "Where are you gonna go?"

She shrugged. "Probably to my mom's for a while." She told. "She lives in Wisconsin, pretty boring up there."

A Cheshire cat smile graced Zach's face as he peered down to Tate. "Oh really?"

She hummed, nodding.

"I'll make it fun."

This quirked Tate's attention, giving Zach a look of confusion. "What?"

"Wisconsin. I'll make it fun. Since, you know, I live in Madison."

"Madison Wisconsin?"

Zach laughed. "Yes, you idiot. Madison Wisconsin."

Tate tried her best to hide her smile, letting out a dramatic sigh. "And when I thought I was finally getting a break from you."

"You're stuck with me now. Remember, we have a connection." He winked, causing her to playfully shove him. "Was that cringey?"

"Very. Don't ever say that again."
