"Come on Y/N we're gonna be late to orientation if we don't hurry," your friend hu tao says to you as you guys are running to your school.
"I'm coming, I'm just not fit at all, I hate running" you huffed between words trying to catch your breath while running.
You and hu tao get to school just as the bell goes so you walk fast to the main hall where people were already flowing into the room you sat with your class next to a quiet girl named sucrose on your left and hu tao on your right.
As you were watching the orientation almost falling asleep you noticed someone standing near a wall at the side but still towards the front, the male had black hair with teal on the underside of his hair that was cut short and fluffy at the back but flat at the top, he had a middle part with a few parts falling down the front of his face and two long parts at the front that came down to his collarbone, his head was bent down trying to avoid any kind of eye contact with him so you couldn't tell what colour his eyes were but you could tell that he was quite handsome,
(skipping through the rest of the orientation because I'm lazy)
After the orientation you walk over to your friend and say "ya know that boy with the teal hair, he's kind fine I feel like I would be good friends with him" hu tao looked at you in slight confusion and a hint of disgust "him? Seriously Y/N? You can do better, He doesn't talk to anyone, how the heck are you gonna get close to him if he doesn't like getting close to anyone" you look at hu tao with a smirk and say "I have my ways" and you walk off.
(skipping more stuff because nothing interesting happens)
(btw it's now the next day)
You head to the cafeteria and you order your food, you see that in the line there was a familiar, teal haired, male, he was a few people after you so you get out of line and move next to him
"Hello what's your name," you say bowing forward a bit and looking at him, he was looking down so keeping eye contact was difficult,
He turned away from your gaze and said nothing with a slightly annoyed expression
"What the matter did I do something," you say as you stood up straight and put your hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
"Its nothing," he says in a monotone voice he walked forward to get his food
"Are you sure?" you say with a concerned tone of voice
"Just leave," he says firmly and shoos you away
You were a bit disheartened but just shook it off like it was nothing, you then walk away towards a friend of yours, kazuha, over at a far table that was slightly secluded from other people. You go over to him and ask a pretty peculiar question
"So I've heard you're quite close with a certain someone called xiao?" he looks at you with a confused expression and raises an eyebrow
"Yes, what of it?" you look at him with a smirk and say
"Do you have the number of the certain someone?" you say in a slight smartass-like voice (let's hope someone understands what I mean)
"Yes I do but why do you want it?" he says almost concerned for poor xiao
"Reasons, please can I have it," you say with puppy dog eyes, knowing full well that that was kazuha's weakness.
"Ugh fuck, fine" and he hesitantly gives it to you on a small slip of paper with the number on it
